Official team v Storm

I thought when the TV show The Pretender was axed that would be end of it, but no, Taylor had to name Milone in the centres again. Absolutely disgraceful selection. The Storm won't get out of second gear this weekend.

Why has Milone become the scapegoat for all our problems? Sure he's an average player but do you really think the result would've been any different if he wasn't there last week?

What about Sirro who gave away countless penalties?
Or Brooks who notched up 50 games and had an absolute shocker?

But no it's clearly the kids fault who's played a total of 3 NRL games because he dropped a pass, right…

He has taken the field in 4 NRL games, has not played to a NRL standard in any of them

i posted earlier this year that the only way Taylor would survive was to take chances and think out side the box..well that has not happened and he seems to be at ease with the prospect of being punted . It astounds me that a coach at this level would not try everything and everyone to get in the winners circle but Taylor selects players that just do not perform I do not understand!

Could it be that MCK is back-up for Siro in case he gets some time for his high tackle? Or is Sue/Lovett/Milone in doubt due to injury cloud? I know Sue may have concussion issues.

Buchanan at 18th man is a bit of a worry. In a perfect world, Lovett or Milone drop out for MCK, Buchanan stays in NSW cup.

That's pretty much my read on it. We've got a concussion test pending on Sue and a possible judiciary hearing for Sironen, hence MCK and Buchannen named 18 and 19\. I don't think Taylor has much patience left for Buchanan, but we can't completely get rid of him either.

We can win this game even without woods, i think it all depends on the service our half's get from dummy half. its Simple, if he just picks up the ball and passes it to them we have a good chance. But if he decides to play Robbie ball and skip 4 - 5 paces from the ruck then pass to brooks or moses with Brommich 2 metres away and about to take his head off then we are finished. It all starts at the ruck..ill keep saying it Robbie is killing our young halfs…

THE SOONER TAYLOR IS GONE THE BETTER!

20 rounds ago would have been about right, right after that diabolical Cowboys game last year, the writing should have been on the wall. now its just beyond painful to anyone that has ever seen a game of league, the guy is an A grade Muppet of a coach.

We have a decent record against the storm at Leichhardt, but with those well mentioned selection liabilities, its very disconcerting.

It's also worrying that Farah will likely try harder when facing Smith, again potentially hindering Moses and Brooks from the play the ball.

Brooks and Moses hinder Brooks and Moses more than anyone else does

what a strong bench. who needs front rowers

What about our selected second row. Halatau these days is definitely not a first grade level secondrower. He will get wiped by the Melbourne forwards.

Good to see Joel Edwards there. Going to need someone get up and in the face of Cronk, & Smith.
No doubt Cameron Smith will once again dictate to the ref's, as he see's fit.

Even if wests-tigers lose, **as long as storm players walk away from game, battered, bruised and bleeding, I will be satisfied.**

Unfortunately it looks like it will be the Tigers fans who will walk from the match battered, bruised and bleeding. Their strong hearts will really be tested.

So Taylor talks tough then selects the same players :crazy

Unfortunately Buchanan may be on stand-by for Sue due to his head knocks?

Yeah exactly.

Talks tough in the press but we know the players run the show.

Is this a good thing…?

I'm not so sure...

I think the club would already be negotiating with other coaches, there is no way Taylor would stay after finishing last season at 15th and a 2-6 start

It is if Taylor is a coach in name only, which certainly looks the case.

What i find funny is people think if he dropped Milone a fill in at best it would send a message to the players that are actually costing us games through ill-discipline errors and penalties…

Cause dropping Nathan should make us unbeatable right...Players run the show...pffft..they aren't doing a very good job..

One thing i do know is Taylors position is untenable...
