Potter has retained the same starting squad used against the club’s season-opener against St. George Illawarra Dragons last weekend, and spoke of his desire to see a strong improvement across the board from the Round 1 loss.

“We presented [the Dragons] with too many opportunities, and we gave away some silly penalties,” he said. “It was disappointing for us – we need to work on being better defensively and we need to work on being better with our last plays. Our finishes to our sets were poor… we need to get that right.”

Experienced playmaker Braith Anasta will feature alongside young halfback Luke Brooks once more, with Potter throwing his support behind the duo after a poor showing in parts in last weekend’s match.

“They know that they didn’t kick the ball well; they know that, overall, they did some good things early and deteriorated from there,” he said. “Both of them need to left their game, and they want to.”

“They want to do better for the team and I know that they can.”

Potter has named an extended 19-man bench for the match, with Keith Galloway and David Nofoaluma named as 18th and 19th man.

are they going to stick to the supposed game plan this week?? Surely if they don't, Potter can't roll out with the same side in round 3.

If Galloway,Nofo and Simona arn't good to go this week then they will be next week surely.

yeah I'd hope so, my concern though is the halves or more importantly, Anasta.

He's not the future and if he doesn't pull his head out of his … and let Brooks run the side, then he needs to go.

That was a very poor last 60 minute performance by the vast majority of the side. Hopefully we'll see a consistent 80 minute performance this week. Completions with the ball with good last tackle options looking to create pressure. And a better attitude in defense.

A bit disappointed to see the mostly the same team, but if Galloway and Nofo will play then that will be a good inclusion to our team. I'm hoping Fulton will be out there aswell.

5 Reasons why we will get annihilated by the Titans

1\. Koroibete is playing instead of Nofoaluma.
2\. Anasta is playing instead of Austin.
3\. Lulia is playing Instead of Simona.
4\. Murdoch-Masila Isn't in the 17.
5\. Galloway Isn't in the 17.

can't believe half of these hacks are still there.I thought sheens was annoying to listen to but potter the way he talks and comes across has no fu–ing idea, sooner we get rid of this clown the better.

It's common to give the round 1 side that got smashed another chance. Often they do a lot better. Everyone was calling to drop half the squad round 1 2013 but we rebounded the next week

Gold coast by plenty, it will be a repeat of last week except the margin may be greater. IMO the coast are a pretty good side with tons of speed and mobility and they should be able to burn our mob up pretty easy. We need Austen in the six role

Sheens all over again play bad and your in next week if Austin is not better than anasta he must be really bad god help us .
