Not to mention, Laurie has been isolated at the goal line by bigger forwards a few times now when Tamou is next to him. Pathetic to let a 75kg rookie handle Paulo one on one.

He’s a plodder ..
He’s slow as a wet week in playing the ball ...needs to retire .
Been outplayed by Musgrove easily .
Waste of money imo .

Yesterday was his best start imo ....our big boys run out puff pretty quick ......Jo O probably close to the best .....I reckon Lucy was OK ...but your next assignment ladies and gentlemen is to watch 80 minutes of Lucy ...he can get lazy .....

Tamou is a bench prop at best .
He’s being outplayed by Stefano and Joffa .
Did you see him walking back to get inside ?
Another retiree imposing as an NRL player .

What disturbed me most yesterday ...we scored and the player doing the talking in the huddle ......Nofoaluma

Itis a worry but at least someone was trying to get them revved up. Nofo had his best game all year yesterday but everyone needs a rocket - they're asleep half the match.

What? His best game of the year? We’re stuffed for the rest of the year then...

Ahhmmm .... It doesn't mean that is all he has. And he was better than the first three games.

At the moment Tamou is not really leading by example as I hoped he would. Slow to turnaround, slow laterally, slow carting the ball up. Seems to tire too easily and has trouble keeping up with the game at times. We need him to be leading the middles line speed and communicating more but not sure if he’s up to it.

He has been outplayed by Joe O, Twal, Stefano, Mikaele & Musgrove. He has been the worst of our middle forwards.

Mikaele cops plenty on here but I thought he showed some good go forward when he came on.

He had as much impact as any of our middle forwards.

Lets not forget James is not getting paid massive money either. We way some people comment about his game you would think he was on like 800k.... He is no where near this and we are 100% getting value for money..

I thought all of the bench players went well yesterday.

If you were making decisions based on form, Tamou would be dropped to the bench or out of the team and Doueihi would be captain. I get that he gives something off the field and there's more to a team than the 80 minutes on the field but Tamou hasn't been good and hasn't been a leader in effort plays. He doesn't play big minutes and yet he's often plodding back to the play rather than playing with intensity. Also besides looking average hitting it up, I've been disappointed with his defense. It was only when Joe O got into the game that our team had a dominant tackle and slowed momentum of the Eels. He needs a clearer role in our attacking sets, getting the ball on tackle 4 for his quick play the balls and he needs to be much better defensively to actually make an impact on the momentum of the match. Didn't like the signing when it was announced and haven't seen anything to suggest he's of value to us yet. I think his reasonable contract probably makes him an okay player to have in our squad but having him as our starting prop and captain is above where he's at presently. Captains need to offer more in effort than what we've had from Mbye and now Tamou.

Tamou can use his Easter Island scone to wipe out Taumalolo

People need to remember that the Cows will want to win for Morgan as well

But Taumalolo is already out of the game.

What happened here?
Didn't hear that he was injured anywhere?

He wasn't. Madge was asked in the press conference why he didn't go back on and Madge said it was just how the game rolled...

After the disallowed try, the Cows went 100 meters and scored.

That was the perfect chance to have got him back on.

Tactically, perfect.

But, not Madge. He was probably yelling into a chair.

On his phone to his agent ......

I'm now a true James T Fan.

I watched him on Sunday against the Dragons from the game and He was the first one bursting of the line in defense every time in his first stint and then he couldn't sit, prowling like a caged animal when waiting to get back on.

100% Commitment

Ive been starting to worry about him, but he had a great game on Sunday. Ran with gusto and was in their faces in defense!!

Thanks for sharing.
Totally agree, its disconnect in defense rather than lack of commitment. And still going to be a challenge for a while with lots of combinations still changing a fair bit every week. It's even more exposed when our offense gets clunky. Titans is another team relying on offense as their defense because the defense is still in the forming/norming stage like us.
Top 6 sides have set starters with minimal changes week in week out.

I thought he was OK on Sunday for the short period he was on the field.
I'm not a fan as most would know, but I don't hate the guy either. We don't really know what he brings to the team outside of his playing ability.
Purely as a footballer, however, he is only just OK imo

Was his best game for us. Defended well and even saw him breaking some tackles. His stats were always going to be down from last years but if he can be that effective every week it's fine.
