Am I the only one who struggles to see what people see in CHN

He'll get belted if the Tigers can't lay a platform first for him.

What I will give CHN is he knows how to run a hole, something Garner seems to have forgotten. Chris Lawrence still the only bloke in the side to make tactical runs into gaps and be willing to cop a shot on the way through.

God we have short memories as people.
Garner made the only line break last week ‘running a beautiful line into the hole’ a support player would of scored a much needed try however he gets cleaned up high from Latrell Mitchell.
Garner for all his deficiencies in defence, has no trouble running the ball.

I’d argue it’s Reynolds that’s affecting garners game... he’s a terrific hole runner but Reynolds doesn’t really put anyone into holes that often. Hopefully if benji is next to him that can change

I agree Reynolds seems to prefer to try and give his outside men early ball which is why joey started to look better against the panthers but that also means its harder to hit a hole because the defense is somewhat still structured

Good point mate I’d didn’t help garner but Joey Benefitted from it greatly and to be honest I’d prefer that

Garner has made 1 linebreak all season, in 8 matches. Chris Lawrence has made 2 in 6 matches. Not enough output from Garner.

Agree there, think we’ll see Lawrence move into the 2nd row when BJ returns. Not sure where McQueen fits in.

How can the Appeals Tribunal contradict the original penalty where contracts were tossed?
Now the players get all their due 2020 salary back paid - it just makes the original penalty a farce.
And then there's the lost sponsors dollars, bad press etc - a PR disaster all round!

The origional decision proudly bought to you by Turdberg Enterprises forever creating a legacy of favouritism and poor administration. If they had played for a favoured club i doubt anything like the same punishment would have been handed out

Does anyone think that their contracts were supported to be deregistered by the dogs due to the onset of COVID. I’m not sure on the timing but I remember verdict was pretty close to lockdown

I don’t think Covid19 had anything to do with it. Behaviour certainly did.

And, as Chrissy hits that hole ....? he usually drops the ball. How many times have we seen that?

Garner was a huge improvement on that in 2019, hoping he can get back to it ASAP.

As for Lawrence ...? His best days are well and truly behind him. I think his retention in the run-on squad this week is a worrying sign of the lack of depth in our backs.

Not half as worrying as Mbye playing again.

How many tries will he let in this week?

Prior to last game he'd been playing well, particularly defensively. We are a much stronger side with Mbye in the team.

Lawrence should replace Mbye at left centre and as captain.
