Here he runs the 100 in under 11 seconds as a 16 year old, into a strong headwind. No one in our top 30 would get close to that, even as a professional athlete

I recorded Makasini race too, but I can't find it smh.
I'll try to find the whole carnival it's like a 4hr video
though & they got his name wrong on the race program.
He towers over everyone and is ahead with his power
running by about the 65/70m mark b4 he gets caught.
He could definately be one of our jewels in the crown
if we manage to ward off other clubs and union

Found the AAGPS athletics results from last year. Makasini was 4th in the U16 100m in 11:60. Not bad for a 16yo.

Makasini & Large are both in the NSWCIS U18 squad for the Australian schools RL championships over the coming school holidays. So we'll get another look at how they both go against their age group in league.

Plus we haven't had our junior reps presentation night yet which I'd expect Makasini to be Magpies Harold Matts best back & player's player. Not sure why it hasn't been held yet.
