Our club is unprofessional, how do you disagree?

Couple of the girls Lara and the brunette went James Hooper style for a bit. Brunette said something like can you take some leadership and tell fans what happened with RE-signing the 3 flops.

I'm sorry but who the hell do you think you are saying that to the CEO of West's tigers. That really enjoyed me.

The 3 girls are wannabe Hooper's Lara and brunette in particular.

Pascoe admitted some mistakes in emailing to stop booing fans which he admitted his call and letting negotiations go that long which implied to me should of withdrew contracts earlier.

Rest been said before wehbe a weirdo, did everything we can but Isaac Moses a jerk and the 3 flops are easily influenced.

Girls let up on him at the end and acknowledged a efforts with the community and pascoe good at Turing distressed businesses into good businesses.

We aggressive in player market for sustained success the worst is over.

Turned it off straight after that case the girls annoyed me sorry if I sound sexist but thought they were very disrespectful.

I noticed this as well. For a show that is usually very professional and well presented they let themselves down with this one. Pascoe was being attacked from the moment he sat down when Hannah Hollis told him to 'show some leadership' before he had even said a word. After that he was interrupted on numerous occasions by the others, even when giving a good, honest answer to their quetions.
They're better than that usually.

yeah, i agree, not their best effort. Hollis annoys me much in the same way as Hooper. She tends to talk agressively at people, as if shes being talked down to or no one is listening to her. She pretty annoying.
Its a pity, their other interviews this year have been great,

Yeah mate. How about Hannah steps in pascoes shoes for a day and see how her leadership skills fare.

The same leadership that they noted had the initiative to set up the beyond blue community initiative.

He seems like the right guy to lead I was happy with his effort to hold back sometimes saying less is best to not stir it up it's over let's move forward to bigger and better things

The host was very professional and allowed him to speak his mind, the other 3 (apologies, I think one is Lara and one is Holly, don't know the name of the other) seemed to be reading from the official fox sports guide to interviewing.

Was happy with Justin's answers. He said on numerous occasions we did everything we could etc…. mentioned Wehbe amongst "other concessions" and to me it sounded like he was justifying the deadline by saying we were seek of giving everything to these brats and getting nothing back.

Also more or less retracted the email to fans re booing, and also owned it as his call. Was very happy to hear that. Owned the long negotiations as his issue too, however, I think we all know that for at least 5 months there were very generous offers on the table so not sure what else they want. I'm getting the sense now that we have heard all we're going to hear in terms of new info. We will probably never hear the real reason, which seemingly involves I. Moses' agenda, whether it was to get payten as coach or something else I have no idea.

He held his own. Usual interview - journos/pundits go on about the media circus without any sense of irony. On the "big 4" said they tried to avoided all being off contract at once. Moses and Brooks took options, Tedesco was changing managers.
Said email to members re booing Woods was an error.
Happy with signings so far and how we are building.
Sponsorship and membership through the roof.
Took on job as challenge, happy with where things are going.

TBH I think Pitt knows very little about the actual game of RL so tries to compensate with an aggressive and dismissive attitude to things/people she doesn't agree with. Anytime she talks about RL it is done with a sheet of paper in her hand to read her information off of (as on the Matt Johns show). Basically just a bit of window dressing who will grill people and then sit there with her nose in the air while they respond. Don't have much time for her at all as a RL "reporter". Would hazard a guess that she would be pretty stuck up and arrogant in and around social circles.
Yvonne Sampson seems to know her stuff when it comes to the the actual nuts and bolts of the game, therefore she is content to show a bit of respect to interviewees/guests and let them answer what she has thrown at them.
Would have loved Pascoe to basically tell it as it is when Pitt and Hollis were getting up him about what the club was prepared to offer Woods, Tedesco and Moses to make them stay. "We at WT management tabled them very attractive and lucrative offers but we stopped short of getting bent over a barrel by them and Isaac Moses, no players will be dictating conditions and demands to our club no matter how high an opinion they have of their worth. We reiterate that no players are bigger than the club and we will ensure that stays the case from now into the future".

What could he say really? Couldn't risk upsetting the fab 3 whilst were still counting on them this year.

My guess on what really happened - The 3 helped Taylor out the door when there was conflict with the "football whisperer" and assumed they would get their mate Payton as coach.(also managed by moses)

Cleary's appointment wasn't the plan ,they were gone at this point(disgruntled and wanting revenge),Pascoe is left carrying the can but unable to rightly defend his negotiating skills.

I emphasize the above is only a guess based on everything I have read in the last 6 months.

The truth will come out one day.

Edit - I forgot Cleary pulled Moses contract offer. It was probably this that finalized Woods and Teddies exit plan. I'm assuming Cleary got the result he wanted anyway as I suspect the contract offers were a touch bigger then he wanted.

Don't blame the girls, the producers probably told them to hammer him.

Perhaps. But Yvonne and Jess Yates at least showed Pascoe enough respect to let him answer the questions whereas the other 2 didn't. Not that it matters TBH, Pascoe was massively hamstrung in what he could actually respond with. The whole segment was pretty bland but that is the NRL these days, very sterile, bland and boring.

I think some of you are over-reacting, the girls didn't really go after him that hard at all. They made a few strike comments but he deflected those fairly comfortably, nothing like the "Justin, mate - when are you going to realise those players are gone!?" that Pooper threw at him a few weeks back.

Hannah Hollis: "Show some leadership" - laughable. She clearly had that line prepped before the interview, it was the first thing she said and she checked her sheet several times, but she stuffed it talking about "only keeping one of the 3". That's funny, you just said it was a Big 4\. Pascoe deflected it pretty easily, did Hannah even ask another question the whole interview?

Pascoe stayed calm, the hardest thing for him right now is not to tear into people because I am confident he has a lot of dirt / counter-information and that he himself is confident that the club has done the right things. So to stay calm and on-message was good, it's one of the things Ivan Cleary seems really good at as well, calm, measured responses, don't rise to media prodding, don't take stabs at people in public.

Then Yvonne started offering him up positive tidbits, she was clearly "good cop", allowed him to talk about club successes and community programs to end the meeting.

Did I miss something, Jessica Yates kept talking about the Woodsie interview and how he didn't want to leave the club. It's the first I heard of it, if he didn't want to leave the club and they offered him top dollar and a long term deal… why on earth is he leaving the club?

Moses offer was just short of $3m over 3 years… more than a touch

I also have enjoyed the show this year but this was a let down.
They didn't seem to be listening or asking anything new and in so far as the WT go Pascoe seemed to achieve closure on this issue.
The departing players must feel embasassed that the club has not said a bad word against them.

As for the girls Yvonne looks the mist genuine really. Justin looks a man of the world and reckon he would've sized them up pretty quickly.

In the FOX Sports interview Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe refers to the Wests Tigers getting rid of
players guru Joe Wehbe-see clip 3:53- 4:28\. This seems to be one of the players "concessions" Pascoe & the Board would not agree to resulting in the players spitting the dummy & running away from home.
Hope the Tigers continue to recruit men, not overpaid boys who can't even get up mentally to play 80 minutes of football. No surprise our team turns to jelly when the pressure is on.
Hopefully the Club can learn that overpaying non-performing junior talent over many years is a recipe for disaster.
IMO Woods can never captain the Tigers again as he does not have the qualities required. He has embarrassed & disrespected the Club.
He does not represent me, the Tigers jersey or the Club.
Can't wait til he disappears.

A few people have now said this about Woods

Even Woods last night on nrl 360 said yeah there's a lot of shoulda, woulda, coulda,

Maybe he made an ultimation of some kind, it wasn't met, so he walked,

Who knows, but if its pride that made him leave, my god he will regret it

Your lot want to put crap on two of the very few players that have always tried hard for this club, and at times they received very little support from some of the nuffies that they were expected toplay alongside.

So what is your explanation for Woods and Teddy hitting the road after the number of good quality signings the club had made BEFORE they announced they were out?

Or why it took Woods 5 months to decide he'd had enough with playing nuffies. Why didn't he just tell the club no deal I am going to look for a better place in Dec?

MG - goldcoast tiger is clearly grinding some sort of agenda that doesn't reflect the reality of the situation as clearly articulated by the club's management (Go, Pascoe & Cleary) and the players themselves.

These players are clearly a problem. I'm glad they are gone. There are so many inconsistencies in their stories it isn't funny.
