MY team. Not going to happen but this mob would beat the Sharks.

Farah in State cup. Rankin in State cup.

Good side. Maybe Rankin to the bench and Halatau out. Rankin can cover a lot of positions in the backline including fullback if needed. He can play wing, but is not a true winger.

gotta love jt. buchanan and lovett are park footballers who should be playing for the wyong roos. suppose jt will be coaching them there next year

Quite possibly because I'd put money on Lovett being in the starting side again next week. And Dene in the side too… madness.

Please give us JAC and either Edwards or Chee-Kam!

How much of a head start does JT want to give the opposition?
JB,KL,JR would not make fg any where else in the NRL,then playing two hookers on the bench defies logic virtually gifting two points to the opposition.

So worst case scenario and Tim Grant gets ruled out by the neurologist. Who do we start in the front row? Ava or Sue?

what about Jack Buchanan?

I was going to start a new thread titled 'Sheenball' but I decided against it as I think a lot has already been said regarding Taylor's absurd team selections and people are probably getting bored of it. However, I'll just say that if it's true that rosters are being decided by attitude at training, who's mates with who and an arbitrary policy of keeping the percentage of locals in the team high, it makes a mockery of the theme of picking the best team available but that's stating the obvious and has probably been said by many others. The team is now finalized with Lovett in. Like most people, I don't think Kyle is first grade material and the bench lacks impact but who else do you pick? I have no idea who's playing well in NSW Cup. Edwards needs more match fitness…..is Fine playing well?

mate i watched 2 state cup games this year ..
was at last weeks game
CHEE KAM + EDWARDS + ADDO CARR

all look like better options then whats getting picked in first grade

chee kam played 80 and busted the line a few times and tackled a big bulldog pack with ease - he should be in there above lovett and sirro theres no doubt

edwards only played 40 minutes but he absolutely smashed their pack with his defense , may need another week or 2 for fitness . he will play first grade for sure very soon

addo carr is super quick and reminds me lots of nathan blacklock with his build and super quick feet . the boy has the quickest set of tiger feet since benji in his early days . defense not the greatest but he will score a truckload of tries

PICK THEM FOR GODS SAKE TAYLOR :crazy

Good on you Pezza. Thanks for the info. I'm in Peru and can only see first grade on livestream. Obviously Chee Kam should be there but what about Fine or Griffin?

I remember TGI in Lima showed some games…

I saw Edwards out there warming up with the team and was that Griffin in 18? Maybe an indication of things to come.

Twas indeed Griffin in 18.
I'd expect Edwards will be in the first grade 17 next weekend, regardless of results.

I only saw NSW cup highlights which are not much to base a decision on, but:
- cheekam looked good.
- Tries were scored down the Addo-Carr/Milone defensive sideline. His reads and overall defence looked shaky
- Chance Peni looked to be running very good lines & set up a couple of good tries

TGI? Thanks but I'm in a place called Trujillo!

What's that place like mate? Might be heading that way myself in Sept. My Mrs is from Caraz & we're hoping to take a look around after visiting her family.

Ha ha, this is really getting off the track but Trujillo is nice. If you like surfing, it's near the longest left handed location in the world. It's called Puerto Chicama. Otherwise, there is so much to see in Peru. Cusco, Machu Picchu, the Andes, the Amazon….The list goes on. Sorry, never heard of Caraz.
