Wests Tigers NRL coach Tim Sheens has asked for time to consider his future after receiving a big-money offer, believed to be from Penrith.
Sheens, in his ninth season at the Tigers, has vacillated over his future for weeks and it is understood the Panthers have tabled an offer which could prise him away from the club he led to the 2005 premiership.

"Each of these three would come into consideration. We are a strong club with a strong roster.
"I don't think we would have much trouble recruiting a coach. But hopefully Tim will stay and all that will be academic."

I revealed exclusively on this forum Sheens offer was only $400k plus. Interesting as his 2009-2011 contract was more. (Believed to be $450k)

After i watched him on nrl on fox im not so certain as other people that hes gone? i think he might be just trying to get a bit more money out of the tigers? he said on nrl on fox that he didnt want to discuss that was his business and he doesnt want to play in the medias hands or something like that? i think he still might stay not confident but thats my opinion? if he does go it worries me because straight away i think of benji and robbie lawrence leaving now thats scary….

I for one hope Tim stays people like Bug will just bag a coach regardless of their acheivements. If we get a new coach you can bet your life if we haven't won the first 2 games they are in charge they will be calling for thier head. Fans of all clubs be it football, league or AFL have these supporters who only voice negative opinions so they can be the " told you so" crowd.
No one person is bigger than the club and if Tim Sheens wishes to go I will be very sad but will wish him all the best. But as I've said numerous times WHO is there to replace him?
Oh by the way when i say no one person is bigger than the club that gies for it's fans too so Bug feel free to go and spread your negativity and crap at the Bunnies or the Roosters. I'm sure they will welcome you with open arms the WESTS TIGERS don't need you.

As sai before tigerdale the clause was taken out when Benji signed his last contract. Benji will never ever play against the tigers mark my words.
