Does Moss do anything at the club? In the past 2 months all we have heard is Taylor; Farah; Go - Taylor; Farah; Go. Now we have Taylor; Farah; Go; Pascoe.

After reading this article, I'm wondering what Moss does? Surely the Farah Saga is Moss's job to manage face-to-face, not the CEO?

Is he still here?

Not only is he still here, he was acting CEO during this mess. Now his "partner in crime" from the Panthers is here to "sort" it all out. :unamused:

This club just keeps on keeping wrong!

So whats wrong with Mr Pascoe?

I agree.

He has made a statement and outlined what he wants to see happen. Can't fault him for that. And has come out and said what everyone wanted. Stability.

**But first impressions are I like what I hear**. A CEO will never start making the hard decisions until he is fully up to date with what's going on. And he certainly won't start till he has addressed the board and fans. He has started on right foot.

We said that about JT when he first arrived at the club and look how that has gone. I just hope that he can sort this mess out. As members and fans, I think we have put up with, apart from good old Parra of course, too much crap from our board since the WT brand entered. One ground, great we need it, new training ground as well. But will be very interesting to see how he plays out the Robbie Farah issue. Fresh to the situation, going to hear both sides of the story without any background really.

I think so. The Farah problem has been around so long moss is starting to grow on it.

Is this another Farah thread in disguise…....

Good luck Mr Pascoe...

We are a very cynical mob at the Weststigers, mainly because we have had CEO's Chairpersons and coaches all preach a lot of positive spin on the place year after year and than deliver bugger all. Bit like the real estate agent that talks your place up to get a listing than talks it down trying to get you to drop your expectations.

Anyway in saying all of the above, I like how he has started his role six weeks early to try and sort out the Farah saga among other issues and I like how he wants to talk to all parties and draw his own conclusions. I like the idea of one home ground, although not keen on ANZ .So I am impressed so far, but as I said lets see where we are at in 12 months, if by than we have made real progress on and off the field and be drama free, he will get my tick of approval

Farah threads will not go away till long after he does. Just look at the Koroibete threads as an example.

Yes Mr Pascoe, I think you'll need it.

Stability in the front office at this club is like asking for peace in Syria.

Far too many vested interests that allows a multi-party conflict that those parties in turn use as an excuse for their shortcomings and a means to lay blame at the feet of others, where in reality they are just too ill-equipped to handle the situations they face.

I give Pascoe full praise for starting his job right away as he could of started it in November .
To me that suggest that he understands the damage and scrutiny the Club is under.

We are in damage control with the fans divided on a few issues with our Club and need to solve this Farah saga once and for all , we can't come back in November with players coming into pre Season with the Farah fiasco still going….will do us no favours for 2016\. I'm over the whole thing to be honest .

Credit where credit is due to Pascoe and i appreciate a Man wanting to start his Tenure before his Due to commence . I wish him all the best and hope we can take steps from 2016 onwards to giving us a Club to be proud of again .

All the best Pascoe.

Well said FT!

And time is not on his side.
His adversaries wait with sharpened knives for the first sign of weakness, then pounce. The fatal blow comes quickly…....
No wait this is WT it's gotta drag on and on.
Slowly and painfully he tries ...........

I don't like when CEOs and coaches use their first day to get some PR, as though the first day is just about chatting to a journo - it ultimately leads to them feeling the need to make grand statements (such as getting rid of Campbelltown and Leichhardt or 'I'm gonna sort out Robbie's situation') rather than then actually getting to work.

Why can his first day not be spent meeting with Moss, Taylor, the head of marketing, head of membership etc, someone from Wests Magpies and Balmain Tigers, and just getting to know the whole situation. It just seems like he has come in as though he knows the whole situation and he's our saviour, will sort it all out. I think you just put people offside when you make these statements.

Good start we need a Leader who gets Go and Taylor completely out of the media. They are embarrassing representitives of WT and Pascoe is a class above.

He needs to go to Harry T requesting $500k to pay out the final 2 years of Taylors contract and another $3m to buy Macguire from Souths for the next few years. we won't improve until we get a hard edged coach with ability.

Where's the evidence of Maguires ability?
His whole career in Australia he's had all the stock… Don't need a great deal of ability when you have good stock.

Chances are he was approached for the interview. We're a mess at the moment, and a new CEO coming in after being without one for a couple of months rates as news.

I'd rather him come in confident rather than Tony Abbott his way through an interview leaving us wondering if we've backed another dud before he's stepped through the doors at Concord.

A premiership win over better squads (Roosters & Bulldogs) in recent years.
Totally imploded and finished in the 8 with a squad falling apart. I'd say that is evidence enough for me.

Funny, seeing he did the interview the day before he started, so he could get straight to work today…!

Priority 1 to sort the Farah mess out quickly - Tick

Priority 2 to have 1 home ground and actually creat a community identity plan - Tick

Comment 3 - wants accountability - Tick

Comment 4 - he could of waited 2mths to start but wanted to start now and make tough decisions now - Tick

Comment 5 - he could of let the Farah topic fester and blame past management but didn't - Tick

Whilst sure we need to see results and given our track record it's hard not to hear it as all talk, but his focus & commitment is definitely on the right areas.

Tick so far for me.
