Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

So Beattie said it would be resolved before the season starts. Now if the NRL has such a hole proof case why will it take so long to make a judgement on our appeal. I see it as a blatant attemp to destabilise our club. I guess they get to have Pascoe suspended for about three months even if they are wrong. If their was PR storm going on over the matter they would have resolved it weeks ago.

They are still not responsible for cap management Happy. The club needs to check off all that with the NRL, not the player.

And in other news, The NRL refuses to allow the Wests Tigers to register Laurie Daley as a consultant given his link to the gambling industry. Nevermind him being coach of the NRL's indigenous team.

The corruption and agenda against us is real, the stench is getting stronger.

Like it or lump it we are at war with the governing body right now.

Best just to head straight to court and put them in their place.

If he was going to the roosters it would not be a problem Toddles just nods his head and smiles. The favouritism and corruption in the NRL becomes more evident almost every day

The same rules have been in place for some time,
Nothing to do with us or any other single club.
just another conspiracy theory because its us involved.

It does , however, raise the question of wether theres anyone in our Administration, who actually bothers to even look at the rules before going ahead with anything.
Its starting to look that way.

If that is the case then why is he allowed to coach the Indigenous team and act as an Australian selector? That seems like a double standard to me.

That's where the horrible double standard is.

I understand the need to regulate gambling within the game but this is ridiculous. Daley is a radio presenter. He has nothing to do with the odds set by Tabcorp or the running of markets. I'd understand it if we were getting Glenn Munsie or Joel Caine to come down to the club and run ball work, but this is a stitch up.

I worked at Tabcorp for 6 years. There were at least 12 people I now who owned race horses and dogs but nothing was ever done. A coupe of footy players worked there too. So I can't see how Daley's position would cause a betting scandal by him giving a few tips. What if he didn't tip on Tigers games would that make it ok?
The NRL are so screwed up and so anti Tigers. There must be a reason for their animosity towards our team.

What rule is that. You're pretty good at generalising but you never actually put forward any concrete evidence of your claims.

The rule that was referred to this morning about full time employment with a nrl club. Even Laurie knew he couldn’t do both.
I agree it could be a dopy rule , but my point was that it applies to all clubs , and while I’m not happy to bust a well thought out conspiracy.
We can come up with better ones than this.lol
