Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

Because they are either being paid by uncle Nick, or they are too scared to take him on, and as for the bronco's they need the tv ratings.
If you can't see it fine, but many others can

Has anyone else caught Mascord on Twitter??

IMO his posts highlight exactly how incompetency and corruption can both be present in the NRL - at corporate level.

Like you, I just want it done and dusted as well, but I fear this will drag on all year, thereby derailing our season yet again.

I'm completely over all of it and totally sick of my team/club being everyone's punching bag. The NRL and powerful clubs can just do whatever they like to us, like Penrith did last year, and we never come out on top. Friggin door mats!

### Go's attack may haunt Tigers

You have to admire **Marina Go** ’s passion for her club, but it could have repercussions for Wests Tigers as they try to deal with their latest controversy.

Her outburst directed at the NRL when the Tigers were caught breaching the salary cap through a back-door deal with Robbie Farah could prove costly.

As we said at the end of last year, the NRL integrity unit rarely gets it wrong. The main criticism of them is that they take forever to finalise some investigations – and they do – but they couldn’t be more thorough.

After they were exposed by the NRL, the Tigers, led by Go, initially said the club would be “vigorously defending” the salary-cap breach allegations. The club was “particularly concerned about the wrongful attack on the integrity” of chief executive Justin Pascoe , Go said. Fast-forward a month and it appears the Tigers have completely changed their tune and now accept the integrity unit’s findings. But they are pleading with the same people they lambasted for the $750,000 fine to be reduced.

You wonder how much sympathy the NRL will have for the club? I’m tipping not much.
The Tigers certainly would have been in a better position to argue for leniency if Go had accepted the integrity unit’s findings in the first place.

Im not fussed about the $750k fine , they had $600k to chuck at Farah so they must have more money than they let on.

The reduction in the cap penalty is what we need reduced.

Agreed, I do not see that being reduced though if we are accepting the NRL's findings as has been reported.

Am I the only one to think this is a kind of a bullying tactic aimed at Marina? How is she solely responsible for the outcome of our appeal?

If she failed in her responsibility to oversee club management, just say that. But don’t blame her words from her statement as the driving force on why we’re likely to sustain a harsher penalty.
Aaargh…I cannot stand Danny Weidler.

Why can’t they just hurry it up.

I'm a little confused here by what Dunny Wiedler has written accept the integrity findings…? That does not sound like we have submitted what we believe to be an winnable case and get our CEO back or see you in court to me... 😕😕

I would take what he says here with a grain of salt, the other articles he writes, even the ones in tomorrows paper always seem to have a pro NRL and Greenburg slant.

Even though I don't have as strong of "we are being penalised too harshly" attitude to this situation as other forum members, I still wouldn't take what Weidler says as gospel.

Wiedler is just trying to take the heat off Greenberg after Webster questioned his handling of Barba the basher at the dogs. Remember believe nothing you read and only half what you see.

OK cool but i read we have submitted what we believe to be an winnable case and get our CEO back or see you in court hence 😕 emoji

Nevertheless, that two reports saying we are only going for a downgrade, not fighting the charge.

Time will tell if this is all just NRL propaganda.

This waiting game is getting a bit much.
I just hope Madge and our boys are focused on our season.

We’re going to regret being so gung ho about Farah in 2016, especially if we always intended on bringing him back. We’ve made a lot of inroads over the last 3 or 4 years, but that was idiotic,
