The petty name calling of players and officials e.g Greenturd, is juvinile and drags the forum down imo.

Oh here comes the moral police and its spelt juvenile, even a juvenile can spell that

I personally think there is more to all this and believe it will all come to the surface if management try to challenge the ruling. As much as I dislike greenturd why would he jepodise he's own reputation and job if the NRL didn't have significant evidence to act against us. I think we might just have to cop this on the chin and move on. I don't accept the excuse we just made a mistake and if we did well mistakes still can't go unpunished.

Even if it was a mistake we broke a rule that is in place to prevent Salary Cap cheating. I don't see how that can't be punished as clubs will just claim a mistake in the future.

That's exactly what I'm saying

I was agreeing with you.

Did you find spell check. Good for you. Your so smart, i hope one day when i grow up i can be just like you.

Sorry i didnt quite understand your response till reading it again. I agree with standing down pascoe and the fine but deducting our salary cap a bit much. What do you think.

I think the Salary Cap penalties have to stay if we broke the rules but think the other penalties may get downgraded.

I'd say your right but i would like it better if it was the otherway around, do you think they will let pascoe back?

I think a downgrade is on the cards. I’d expect Pascoe’s penalty to be lifted.

I'd like to see Pascoe's ban lifted and the fine downgraded but believe if the rules were broken, even accidentallymthen the salary cap deduction needs to stay as a deterrent to other teams.

You're entitled to your opinion of course. I use the term Greenturd in reference to Todd, as I have no respect for him. I believe throughout his actions at Canterbury and at the NRL he is corrupt, bias and is under the influence of the powerbrokers within Rugby League and not doing what is best for the game as a whole.

I refrain from using offensive language out of respect to the forum and the users. Greenturd for me is a compromise. I don't see the usage of such a term as petty, I see Todd himself as petty.

I can understand that. To me there is a huge difference regarding the intention of the action. I think the intention should impact upon the Pascoe deregistering and fine, and unfortunately not affect the $639k salary cap hit.

Does Robbie definitely get the money though? If it's coming off the salary cap for 2019, shouldn't he be paid all of it for 2019, so he gets $639k additional to whatever he is on for the upcoming season? lol, he could be on $950k again.
