Yep you are right, I didn't mean it was only millenials, just that with the pill testing in the news they come to mind, there are all ages who are looking for someone to own their problems.
I have 2 kids one who will be 18 in 3 weeks and one who is 20, I have banged on to them their whole lives about taking ownership of their lives, and life choices, they have known from day dot I have zero tolerance to drugs.
I don't mind them partying, but you don't need drugs to party, have a drink fine, they have both turned out ok, the youngest got DUX of year 12 at the local high school last year, with an ATAR of 93.2.
They are hard workers but also like a break from the grind, which is fine and I encourage them to do this, but some of their school friends were doing drugs a long time ago, and they chose to refuse them, which made me quite proud.
851 and CB ,Iam approaching 62 yrs of age and never have blamed anyone for what I have indulged in during my life..Beer,wine bourbon and plenty of winfield gold when at my peak, however I have never injected drugs, swallowed pills or gorged on hash cookies for a great night out, without being a hypocrite I have had the odd joint with mates on the rare occasion and that was all I have had..the trouble is these days the younger generation think its cool to pop pills on top of plenty of alcohol before they go out on the town and king hit innocent people or make other peoples night out unenjoyable,I dont say it is all but most think its a groovy thing to do to make other peoples night out a drama…
Yeah that's cool TT. I wasn't saying everyone was like that. Seems to be a shift in society where everyone from all ages and walks of life adopt that view that it is always someone else's fault.
Most people can have a few disco bikkies or a line or two and not upset anyone. It's always a handful that can't handle their piss/drugs that ruin it for everyone else.
One thing I will say: I've never seen anyone smash a joint or a few cones and want to kill someone. Just saying.
Just cos you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen….
Marijuana can cause psychosis and paranoid schizophrenia.
