Pascoe sanctioned by the NRL

The thing is in this modern day you have a computer program

Then you do a contract up for a player and it is permissible or illegal

How hard is it

I've argued against Tiger Watto on having a points system for players in the salary cap , but I think it is unavoidable and would be the only system that will go close to working and keeping a truly level playing field

The NRL's issue is they complicate everything to try and placate the big end of town sides

Difficult to pass fair judgement on any of this without hearing Pascoe's version of events.
De registered because he acted alone, or not?

suggested Farah only agreed to leave the club after being guaranteed the four-year ambassadorship deal.

Bottom line is Farah is a cancer at this club. We paid another club 750K for him to play against us. On top of that we now have to pay a fine of 350K, a cap reduction of 640K and loss of our CEO for 6 months because he refused to accept that he wasn't wanted and demanded an ambassadorial role before he would go. And to top it off another cancer in Cleary wanted a feel good story in bringing the wayward son back to see out his career. Hope Madge dumps him like he did at Souths.

It's the deregistration that sticks in my craw. In hindsight the fine and penalty look to be in line with indiscretions by other teams, but to deregister him seems excessive. Does anyone know what other CEO's have been deregistered by the NRL and for what offences? I know Steve Sharp at Parramatta in 2016 was one, but that was over secret payments and being over the cap since 2013, so what does the NRL have on Pascoe that puts him in that category?

As i said at the start Pascoe upset a few people. He did his job a little too well and then he stood up to Penrith and played hard ball in a coaching merry go round that included Penrith, Souths and the Broncos.

Him walking away with a 6 month suspension while extremely disappointing is an ok result.

Please stop using the word 'cancer' to descibe people you don't like. Bearing in mind, a lot of people on this forum have posted about the disease & how its affected them & their families. Your slander of Robbie is unmitigated IMO, but you, like a couple of others on this forum only form a loud minority. Dragging a legend that bleeds for our club without being privy to any details (besides media releases) says more about yourselves then it does anyone else.

The fact that many of you still can't come to terms with the fact we got caught and actually move on from it is staggering. The losers on MAFS don't whinge as much as some of you.

Blockquote“I acknowledge that a rule was broken and regret that this occurred. These actions were never done with intent or deceit and were simply an error

Says it all.

Brydens must have had a hand in getting some dialogue going between the parties, so kudos to them. Thank god it's all over.

Wests Tigers chief executive Justin Pascoe will return to the club under a new chair. Tigers tomorrow expected to confirm that Marina Go will leave once a new independent director has been appointed. Full story in @aus_sport tomorrow

[1:26 AM - 3 Mar 2019](https://twitter.com/brentread_7/status/1102138093954461696?s=19) 11 7

Let’s hope there are some strong experienced candidates for the role.

Got caught making an error but treated like cheats. Yes willow I am amazed any Wests Tigers supporter would accept the way our club has folded.
