PATHETIC

Sorry but I laughed at your comment, stryker. Everything you just said was a complete lie, get off the bandwagon. Sheens and benji are responsible for our defence missing tackles tonight? am I missing something? was sheens asking players to miss tackles?

I was being facetious you clown  Of course he didnt say that….But my word they are responsible. Coach hasnt improved our defence in years and Benji must be close to our worst defender.

Lol if you think tonight changes anything T4E your clearly in denial. Defense was pathetic

So its a win…i choose not to be negative about anything and everything......clearly you do../yes master coaches we all know the def was terrible at times..they have admitted themselves...state the obvious

We hear them all the time admit where they go wrong but rarely do they actually do anything about it. I'm not above looking at the positives, Koro for example, but overall there wasn't much to get excited over. Not with that defence

They've been saying that all season and nothing has changed, that is the problem.

Some people on here just don't get it… :brick:

* Jake Mullaney has already proven that Tim Sheens and the Wests Tigers management have NFI about talent. If this kid never deserved a shot at the Tigers ahead of Tim Moltzen (before Tedesco even came along) then I am not friggin' here.

Moltzen is a halfback hence why Mullaney wasn't picked over him..

Lol except for how Moltzen played almost the entire season last year at fullback and the year before that was in and out of fullback all season. Hell in 2010 we brought in Wade McKinnon from the nursing home and played Mitch Brown there. If you honestly think at no stage did the former record holder of points in the NYC and a guy who scored 28 tries in 18 matches deserve a go at fullback at the Wests Tigers, a club who haven't had a constant, decent fullback since 2009, then uhhh you are wrong.

Defense was horrible but at least we had some mojo in attack for a change. Also, parra is sitting poorly on the ladder but they've been playing well the last few weeks IMO. Enjoy the win.

Yeah take credit…way to go...cant believe the egos on here...the fact is he got a go and once again sheens has blooded another youngster.

Exsqueese me? i don't see how this is relavent to what i said. I never acted like an expert claiming he should have played earlier nor did i bag Sheens for not picking him. As for positives comments i've made well refer to my last comment re: Koro for starters

It was nothing more than touch football from both teams, unfortunately we probably won't play another game like that for a long time. If football was played in that style every week we probably lead the comp and go close to win the comp. We need to fix our defence yesterday. We never built any pressure at all our kicking was a bit better but still pretty poor. We are a funny team.

Despite us only slightly being down this has been the most infuriating game I ever witnessed for the following reasons.

* Jake Mullaney has already proven that Tim Sheens and the Wests Tigers management have NFI about talent. If this kid never deserved a shot at the Tigers ahead of Tim Moltzen (before Tedesco even came along) then I am not friggin' here.

* The underutilisation of Marika Koroibete indicates that he is really only there because Sheens has no other choice. None of the plays have been involving him at all, which is a crock, because he is easily the fastest and most dangerous outside back on the field. This in turn makes me think that Koroibete isn't actually in his plans. As with last week Koroibete has received zero ball other than off kicks. Two of the three times he has had the ball he looked like Mal Meninga.

* Adam Blair has continued to show he is a god damned joke of a player. That effort on Ben Roberts in the first Parramatta try was laughable.

* Junior Moors has almost been our best forward in eight minutes on the field and he too seems to be in the "meh" group according to Sheens.

* Aaron Woods got so sick of having his arms free with no support that he just angrily threw it at Farah's back when his back was turned.

* Robbie Farah cannot inspire the team to defend well ergo I think he should not be our captain going forward. Hurts to say it because I love him but I just don't think he is a good on field leader because our team has no guts. Imagine if Gallen was our captain, would we be defending this badly?

* Benji Marshall continues to be a turnstyle, show pony and we only have a dummy half as another option. Sheenius.

Screw this team.

First half comment for sure!

Just because we won doesn't erase the 21 odd missed tackles after 19 minutes.

And we missed 8 in the other 61 minutes. ( stats have 29 missed ATM).
So the attitude changed bar that first 1minute of the 2nd half.

It was a great turnaround. I'd just love to know why we can't defend adequately all the time. The defense in first half was absolutely hopeless. How does it keep happening?

You think the players dont know that…but we won by 25 points ....a much needed win.

They always say they know mate, but there's a difference between knowing and doing and for so long they haven't been able to address the issue.

It's the number one frustration, if this team can consistently defend well them it goes along way to fixing a lot of our problems. The problem is, they have shown that they can't do it.

I'd just love to know what the issue is. If its attitude, how can it be fixed? Is it coaching? Is it some individuals?

So frustrating.

I honestly would like to believe its not sheens coaching…its the player...maybe its as one of the commentators said the other day....some players just cant play to a structure.....

Look at kearney at parra trying to get some structure in the way they play and they played terrible the moment they let the leash off they started playing much better.

Even though there were some real poor attempts at tackle im just so happy we won and put a few points on in the 2nd

Some players dont need structure in attack i.e Wally, Cliffy Lyons, Brett Kenny, Johns, Locky..and for us Benji. They play what is front of them through their natural instinct.

However All players need structure in defence. This is something that has never been addressed. It is the sme every year. We are hopeless in broken field/kick chase and we are hopeless in our 20 meter zone. Parra exposed both many times tonight and they would have scored a couple more tries if they held onto the ball.

I have no idea how this can be fixed. No one has been able to help them with this. It is just who they are as a group

It was a very good comeback, was impressed with the turnaround, even if it was against poor opposition.

I just look at the difference in defense from first half to second and shake my head. Hard to believe it was the same side on the park.

I know its unbelievable how bad we can be….it was better tonight though but im scared what team next week. Its not prep because you hear coaches say all the time they do the same things every week with a little tweak but basically the same.So what changes from week to week and why

The 2 other sides that are like us is raiders and roosters...you cant blame the coach all the time.

HATERS GONNA HATE LADS.

You can give me grief for wearing rose tinted glasses.

I was called deluded for calling the Tigers winning by a heap. Whos deluded now?

You bunch of haters - you know who you are.

You can go and suck it.
