I have heard directly, that Tristan Hope, is Top 30 next season.

My assumption is that he, himself, may be confused with extended and/or summer squad, because the earlier announcement from the club didn't say as much.

He must be confused. He's not top 30, but he is training with the first grade squad.

Final squads won’t be named until after the trials in Feb. Till then we have the JF summer squad already announced. NSW Cup will have a few NSW Cup contracted players in addition to the WT top 30, dev, T&Ts and junior rep players promoted.

One week later, on February 22, the Magpies clash with the Parramatta Eels in a pre-season trial at 7pm. This is your opportunity to watch the black and white under lights. The Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg will kick the day off at 5pm.
