The NSW Cup Magpies play a trial on Saturday afternoon (2:30pm) at Leichhardt after Balmain play its junior rep matches. Not sure if Flegg is playing a trial there too.

Any ideas on who'll be the main goal kicker/s in the KOE team?

It'd be great if they can play their way into the NRL side, we need someone up around 80-85% to win the closer games like some we lost last season.

With both Hodgo & Pat Richards at the club they should focus on getting as many potential kickers in both the Top squad as well as the Reggies practicing goal kicking on top of their regular training. Who knows, maybe there's a potential gun kicker amongst them.

They still have a few errors in their game, but there’s a lot to like about the Taotua twins.
Both have good size, mobile enough for big men, seem to have decent fitness levels and play very aggressively.

Man Magpies can’t catch a break today, all 3 games end in a loss. Hopefully the squad will be much better come round 1.
