Penriff going down...

couldn't have happened to a a nicer coach...However...I wish our blokes had 1/2 the commitment shown by the bunnies and the unity as a team.
If rumors that we were going to get Bennett are true, you do wonder if he had been able to get more out of our lot (somewhat doubtful imho ). This said, that a coach has a definite imprint on the team has become even more obvious watching the finals. Even the Titans surprised me...How teams can unearth so much talent (or how well they are coached) is something to applaud, no matter who you follow.

Great game eh.
Blake Taaf dropped the ball early but kept a cool head and had a really good game.

Penrith smoked souths twice during the season and lost the game that really mattered, just like they'll do if they make it through the next round(s) and as they did last year.

Massive ego, cocky, arrogant but got a good belting last night.

What was even better was Waybe TKO'ing them in the post match presser... #Flawless Victoru

it hertz to lose

Penrith butchered plenty of tries that could have easily won them the game though...an off night.
Annoying thing for me is how many times Souths players are the so called victims in 'crusher 'tackles.
Nothing changes the way the refs always look after the Dunnies.

The biggest blight on our game. Any player in any tackle can grab the back of their head and it’s a penalty. Latrell did it to us and we got penalised, put them in a position to get the field goal.

Parra are even worse at using it as a tactic

Cleary a choker. Great when his forwards are dominating. Look at all the big games when he needed to stand up .......goes missing. Exactly like SOO game 3 2020 , grand final 2020 & last night.

What a tough impressive display by south's. Real semis footy.
Great to see Penrith choke.. And then old uncle Waynes job on Ivan - perfect

This is why I’m not excited about any half in the game these days .. every single one of them is a downhill skier , not one can do squat if there forwards or team is getting dominated .. not like the halves or yesteryear

Cody Walker pound for pound must be the most competitive player in the NRL. Hard as nails, skill and a will to win…perfect player

Massive grub too.
😂

Most of the best most elite players are very unlikeable....plenty of jerks in the community, just drive round sydney for 20 minutes....some play footy
RL attracts guys that dont live by the rules, not all...but ;lots...been like this for years.
The meltdown on here re: Latrell was a case in point...while i dont condone his actions
I dont believe it was intentional...but if it was Tom Turbo in LMs shoes the
reaction wouldve been nowhere as it was
I find it interesting the outrage fans have against certain players, its much like
channel 9 using footage of brawls and illegal plays to promote their broadcast yet
they get all high and mighty when a foul is commited
The NRL love the soap opera that is off & on field drama...theyre hypocroites too

I also through the handling of latrells tackle was disgraceful. There was no intention in that. We play a contact sport that is based on aggression. The NRL are destroying the game.

The game was won in the forwards Souths pack dominated.

Can't speak for everyone but my outrage was definitely on what he's done previously.. e.g. lashing out at Garner with the boot, the hit on Josh Reynolds and then the cheap shot on Nofoaluma. Now I could've let go of it but then the lack of remorse afterwards, the mouthing off, throwing the ball on the ground next to the player are all traits of a really sad human- not competitive, sad.

I love the way he plays but there is a reason why many don't play the way he does. The margin of error is high, especially when fatigued. You have to have consequences of hitting people high- people said it was deliberate, I definitely disagree with that but I don't disagree with taking into account the injury sustained by a player. If you want to go hard at something, you better hit the right spot, otherwise don't go hard.

Has not always stood up in the big games, but I guess Bennett knows how to get the best out of him.
