Pets and Pics

5yo Toy Poodle Bella. A shadow of my/our previous black dogs, being Newfoundlands, the last of which passed 3 three years ago, so a huge size difference. A rotty prior to them, and all lived long lives for large/giant dogs of 12/13 years

Got her as a right sized comfort pet for our son's bed when his mum was at the depths of her illness (Paranoid Schizophrenia), and Bella still fills a similar role for all of us to this day.

Groom her myself since she was about 1yo, so far from perfect and not into the "poodle look", preferring a reasonable all over length of coat.

She's beautiful! We had a toy poodle, Piglet, after our Doberman and Dalmatian crossed the rainbow bridge. Crazy little pup, but so loving. Seriously saved life once by yapping and carrying on so that I wasn't in my car when it got crushed by a falling tree branch. Sadly, we lost her 4 years ago.

She is beautiful. They love their food don’t they.

She loves her food and we got her a cake from a store in Enmore called Woof Gateaux which specialises in dog cakes. It has no preservatives and is pet friendly. The video of a Boxer eating a cake is very funny. Life is so much better with pets in your life, only downside is their lifespan is not long enough. Their love is unconditional

These are my fur babies. Top left is the beautiful Zoe. She's 11 and found us when we made our tree change. I still can't believe she was dumped as a puppy. Best dog ever! Top right are the babies, Bubble and Squeak. Squeak is 2 and Bubble is 1. Bottom left: look at that face! Bubble is also the best dog ever. Bottom right is Miss Squeak, who is probably the worst cat ever 😂😂 She's just not a smoochy cat, but gorgeous and tough as nuts, even though she's tiny.

I'm cranky with my guy this morning

He figured out how to Bark and was practicing at 1:30 am this morning....
Probably my fault as I'm teaching him to bark on command

Only going to get worse bro,
he's huge for 4 months old

Our groomer is his breeder. Lucky we live fairly close. She will do any of her dogs.
What about ear plucking?
Have you heard about that?
You are supposed to have their ears plucked or it can over grow and surgery may be necessary. It happened to my mums schnauzers, she had 2 from the same breeder. A mum and daughter combo. But mum wasn’t doing it well enough or at all.
yeah our groomer sorts that out. they scratch them for a couple of days after. Our dogs are from Qurindi, a long way from me

Yeah only the schnauzer groomers seem to know about it.
I can’t pluck nothing out of his ears, Mrs BF can usually get a bit out, but the breeder/groomer uses a doctors pair of long nose pliers type thing and they come up smick. He hates her for it though, he’s a sook about it.
Had to google Qurindi, yes looks a bit far from anywhere.

I tried to upload a photo of our 7 year old Pomeranian but the image was too big.

Mine were as well, so I sent myself the image via Outlook email, where it gives the technically challenged such as myself the easy option of reducing the image (file) size, or just sending the original.

Little bit of a hassle, but it is the only way that I know how to get an image file that posts on here, so maybe give it a go so we can see your best friend/s.

Now you need to teach him the command “quiet” and treat him for it every time and rarely treat for the command “speak”. It works.

American Staffy equals Pit-bull only you say staffy coz people freak out when you say Pitty. A bloke around the corner from me breeds them and that’s what he told me. His boy Goku is younger than The Fonz and when Goku was a puppy he was just a little smaller than Fonz. They became mates and Goku got real big real quick but he always respected Fonz. He would come up and nudge Fonzy trying to take the piss and get Fonz to play chase. Fonzy would sometimes get the shits and give him what for, but Goku never hurt Fonz and would just turn away. Beautiful placid pitty. Looks very much like yours.
This bloke then got a [This word has been automatically removed] and she was different and attacked another dog down the park and now old mate doesn’t walk the block with either of them. Sad really coz when we walk past their house The Fonz will have a bark and you can hear Goku barking in reply from their backyard.
Anyway good luck with yours, training is a must for any dog to reach its full potential and dogs love being trained, not to mention the bonding that happens when you train your dog.

The Fonz chasing or stalking lizards and then lazing on the lounge. It’s a hobby of his.
