Phil moss steps down

Why does everyone keep saying he was moved on

He may have left of his own accord , maybe he was unhappy at how stuff is being handled by Pascoe ??

People invariably like to make assumptions Happy without really knowing all the facts.

But the reason he left might give us many answers to many questions we have Col

Especially in regards to the Farah situation

You may not care to know why , but some here do

As Ink alluded to , some of us are up in the air still whether to rejoin as members or not and want to see a united front moving forward from the club

This from the outside , doesn't appear to give confidence to anyone either way

The reason he left is obvious - he applied for CEO role and despite being acting CEO didn't get the role, which is fine but when that happens people leave the organisation in an orderly fashion in situations like Moss. Not sure why anyone is surprised this is how business works

Then again your assuming he left and assuming he applied for the CEO's role

And he was hired at the Football Operation General Manager and then was acting CEO

Unless that role became redundant he still would of filled that role when Pascoe was hired

So when I'm asked to fill in as the Area Manager , when he come back from holidays I should quit or get sacked ??

Moss applied and was a candidate for the CEO role..Area managers are a bit different to Company CEO's I would think…wether he walked or pushed makes no difference now he's gone...

He was completing both roles in the intirem until Pascoe was appointed...

As I said above I beg to differ Geo

If he was sacked we are just shooting ourselves in the foot time and time again with the lack of stability or hiring the wrong people

If he left , we have to ask why we can't seem to retain anyone on or off field

I don't know the in's and out's at Penrith , but he came here with rave reviews from many

And if it is because he clashes with Pascoe , why did we hire a person who has to work closely in two roles that will clash with another

IMO, he presided over the whole Taylor/Farah debacle. Im not sure what role he played during that saga but at the end of the day, it happened under his watch and he allowed for it to happen. In my eyes, there needed to be some kind of accountability for what transpired. Im ok with him being punted for what ever reason simply because he had the power and ability to put a stop to what happened. Im not saying he should have sacked Taylor or tore up Robbie's contract or both. It should never have happened but it did and I believe the onus rested on his shoulders.

Maybe they found out Moss was Tiger Torch and sacked him for sharing inside goss 😛
:stuck_out_tongue:

Hahah… That would be funny and deserved if true.

but I think its safe TT might be well connected at the club, but not part of the management/playing squad.

Maybe Moss knocked out Sam Ayoub?

Sensible posts like this should be banned!!!! I agree 100%, probably should have been done a month ago but the club suffered a massive amount of damage over Farahgate and it should have been stopped very early in the saga before it became the shambles it was

We have had management problems with our team but thankfully it is always solved in a civilised manner and never anything like this soccer club management skirmish;

Soccer club boss banned for kicking coach
By AAP
January 16, 2016: The Italian owner of English fourth-tier club Leyton Orient has been banned from attending six games for kicking the assistant manager. The English Football Association found Francesco Becchetti guilty of violent conduct over the incident immediately after a match last month. Becchetti admitted his conduct was improper but denied being violent toward coach Andy Hessenthaler on the pitch after the 2-2 draw against Portsmouth. An independent FA regulatory commission hearing also decided to fine Becchetti STG40,000 ($A82,550) .

The stadium ban is on hold pending any appeal by Becchetti. Orient is ninth in League Two.
