I have just seen a photo tweeted by triple M taken at Leichardt Oval.
The photo is of Brenden Santi & Matt Lodge being made to do extra training after the game.
Seriously Taylor, is this how you build morale? Perhaps this kind of thing goes a long way to help explain the situation the club finds itself in.
If this is any indication of your training methods I hope they show you the door immediately.
I am a proud Wests Tigers supporter. I may be disappointed with todays game but I am DISGUSTED with your methods.

Taylor should be the one doing push ups and laps
Can't wait to watch the post match presser !

JT is the new breed of supercoach. A real innovator, you will see all the coaches doing this shortly.

|Mick Potter should have been given another year with the same free reign that Taylor has. I suspect that we would be sitting within the eight instead of chasing the spoon.

LODGE ? are you serious :brick: . He wasn't introduced to the game till midway through the 2nd half .

Stop blaming other people for your bad Coaching you imbecile

Like i said when we recruited him the worry with Taylor is his personality.

He has always been a bit of a knob. He is smart but maybe too smart for his owen good if you know what i mean. He just comes across as a little angry ant with a chip on his shoulder.

Once players start witnessing this then its a downward spiral.

Performances and body language are that of a side that either have no idea or just dont really want to play for Taylor

Don't worry about the press conference.
It is the same dribble, NRL is hard, we weren't good enough, we are working towards it blah blah blah.
The only new thing is he is now saying it takes longer than one off season to change the culture, oh and it wasn't the fact the we had Lovett playing in the centres that we lost. But he wouldn't go into why, that wasn't for public consumption…. :bash

Are we sure it was extra training? not a warm down? absolutely ridiculous if true. Up til now i have just been a critic of his game plans and the selection of a couple of young players not up to first grade standard. But this is a whole new problem in my eyes.

x 2 x 2 x 2 ….
we were flogged by the mainly second string panfers and i actually felt sorry for lovett when he was put out in the centres against an opponent who was 5 yards and chomping at the bit to run at him. yet that absolute loser of a "first grade" coach with zero idea on what it takes to be a f/g coach, leaves him at centre until after the panfers score their fourth try down the left side.

FT, imbecile is a way too generous description of the tool / tosser in charge.
JT, just knick off !!

Pretty funny thread guys.

Next training will be a recovery and video session. These two had minimum minutes, so to work on their match fitness without cooling down, fitting into the weekly training schedule and making the most of the recovery day, these guys had to do extras.

Now most games you would play at parks with decent facilities, so you probably wouldnt see this happen , there would be a half decent gym or warm up areas which arent the playing surface to get this done on.

Thanks for the laughs and blind Taylor hate. Im not defending the guy, but if you want to bag him out, at least pretend to be half rational and have half an idea.

maybe it was some kind of cooldown/recovery session or just trying to see the effect of a minor injury?

I would say you are right. It would be a very archaic form of punishment to end a dismal day.

Paul Gallen - Origin Captain. Australian Rep.

Commenting on Triple M said that it was ridiculous and he had never seen anything like it before. He actually laughed he thought it was so stupid and out of touch.

Ok, just for the sake of it: why is half our bench playing so few minutes that they need to go for a run after the game?
