A gluten free diet makes you feel like crap, honestly i would be surprised if the players actually stuck to it.

All the food is rubbish.

Isn't it just no wheat?

A salad with grilled chicken and no dressing is gluten free.

Sounds pretty healthy to me m8

Wheat is in pretty much everything, would you be able to eat salad with grilled chicken everyday?

Many ice creams, chocolate bars etc. contain wheat

Have a look in your pantry, i assure you over 90% of the things in there contain gluten.

rice, corn, soya, lentils, polenta, buckwheat, millet, nuts
all fruit and vegetables
all meats including eggs
most dairy
spirits, liqueurs, wine, soft drinks, juice, tea, coffee
jams, honey, vinegar

You've given yourself away milky, sure chocolates and ice creams often have gluten. So does white bread, muffins, donuts, cake and Foot Loops.

The players are men and should be treated as such (quote) so this means the coach has no idea how to treat the players! Well this is the first move to undermine the coach and move him on make no mistake.
The boys club is alive and well and the knives are in the ready ,I am sure these comments would of been made about The other top coaches not.
Yes it is not about food it is about taking the authority away from the coach ,the white ants are still in the club and outside make no mistake.Taylors days are numbered…

Forget about the Pizza and Beer.

It's about creating a happy environment.

Our team played like zombies last season and players looked unhappy. The club was a circus. The body language was pretty poor. 15th place was 100% deserved and very disappointing.

Mark O'Neill can act as good foil for Taylor and make sure the players are happy and playing for each other. Just let Taylor concentrate on coaching. on the training paddock Get some wisn on the board and that will do the talking for Taylor.

Taylor has certainly toned tone the rhetoric this year. Way Llss waffling about our clubs past failures and how poor previous coaches were. Less waffling about prices and mor talk about doing everything possible to win. I don't think he will be ringing radio station to rant either. I think upstairs might have had a word or two to him in the off season. His pressers are much more to the point and balanced.

I see Oneill as a very good appointment. But like most things only time will tell if i'm right.

Would prefer they have beer & pizza after a win.

Now we are getting somewhere Oniel comes from the Sheens era of rewarding MEDIOCRITY you played like garbage so go out and get plastered eat heaps of pizza and rub it in the coaches face yes all the MEDIOCRITY train is back!

He has improved a lot this year hasn't he.

One direct quote, that was actually about beer, not pizza. The diet hasn't been "tossed in the trash", they just get a break on long turnarounds. Which is good.

Long story short, the Tele can only sell papers with fabricated dramas.

So we reward them when we lose …..................

OK

Great start Buckets , what next , give them 5 year contracts when they play like garbage ??

That's right , because the players run the club , genius , just genius

15 years on , same boys club , same players run the club , some complete lack of accountability

Yet if we fail , the finger will be pointed at Taylor , not Buckets , Whatuira , Caine or McCracken

We should start a mass lawsuit if the clubs fails again , they learn absolutely nothing

Well I learnt 1 thing , no one at the club owns a set of balls , and when they do show some ,all the pussies in this club cry like unfed babies till things go back to the same

Actually someone has but they were cut off remember, the boys club mediocrity crew have arrived Sheens legacy lives on … Only one more to join the crew!

People are seriously going way overboard with this, JT for one isn't with the players 24/7 so players take control of there food intake when there in there own environment.
And 2 he can't force players to avoid Gluten free products.

He can advise them but the players make there own decisions in regards with food, unless it's in there Contracts that they can't have a beer or pizza? Well then this is a stupid discussion if you ask me.

Matter of fact I had pizza and beer the other night…..mexicana to be precise,it burnt going in and burnt coming out, maybe just what the doctor ordered for our blokes...give them a bit of a clean out now and then....

Also , did you know that the moon landing was faked and was shot in a movie set.
And that Harold Holt was picked up by a Chinese submarine.
Not to mention the "Grassy Knoll"
I love a good conspiracy theory
I bet that Robbie told Buckets to do it

Geez, what is the problem with the boys having a few drinks after a loss. Pretty sure they were not there to celebrate a loss, rather just a get together in a non football environment that would have been planned, regardless of result.

Further, I doubt it was in any way a rebuke for Taylor, just another collaborative decision within a club that seems to finally be going places.

Seriously there is a lot of paranoia by some in this tread. You would think the illuminati where running the world according to a few on here.

I have to agree, although it would be hilarious watching JT running around with a gluten tester in his back pocket, leaping out of hiding places and doing random tests on players.
Is there double demerit points for players who test positive over long weekends ? :exclamation:

No Milky. Cutting out or even reducing wheat-grain from our diet, is a good thing. Do some research on it….
