Player signings around the Grounds

JDB is a whole hearted player. He played with pace and power in r1\. I thought he played really ell last year. This year he looks fitter and stronger.

It's his beard that's doing that.

And JDB's grandfather played for Balmain, there must be a family connection / sympathy for Tigers.

Cheers for that info. One of my best mates is a dirty Dragons fan. I'll use that and embellish it.
I'll tell him JDB wants to makes his grandfather proud and become a Tiger.
If you say it enough, it will probably be picked up by tabloid media. I think that's how I lot of these rumours probably start.

Just read that article. Id paste it but i am on my phone at work. It sounds like we might be a bit late to the party as negotiations between JDB and the Dragons are close to being finalised. So unless we have come in late with an offer he can't refuse, i'd say we can cross him off the list unfortunately.

i heard a rumour on the weekend from a well informed sharks fan, that we are looking at signing luke lewis as the sharks want to sign james segeyaro, he claims it is been considered by the two clubs.

Happy with our current squad and should look to re-sign the talent we have coming off of contract.

Is this the last year we have to pay part of Farah's contract. If so that should free up some money.

Also Simona, Grant and a few fringe players would free up some cash for 2018.

Would be happy to take Luke Lewis if Cronulla and paying most of the contract. He gets better with age.

Fox sports are reporting that West Tigers are making a play for Jack De Belin.

I think we'll be linked with every capable 2nd rower available. And for good reason.

If we don't get these second rowers then we make their club pay more to keep them.
Like every other club is doing to our big 4.
Plus it could send a message to our guys to lift their game and be more consistent week in week out.
Also if we make an offer for every decent forward going around they might know that we are serious about building our forward strengths and we might jag a decent second rower.

Roosters shuffling the Salary Cap Deck to make a play for Jason Taumololo..

Which is not right as I saw him 1st…

It will be announced when we play the Cowboys

5 year deal , and has agreed to take a pay cut 400 k a season

Bit worried at the Broncos stating they will be looking outside their club for a replacement for Ben Hunt.
They'd have to consider Brooks or Moses wouldn't they.

Apparently Brooks manager said he wasn't ready too start negotiations with anyone when Broncos approached, Broncos are apparently monitoring Sandow's attitude at North's (weight issues).
