Those stats look okay overall and you'd normally think you win based on those. Kev missed a lot of tackles and Brooks was quiet but plenty of metres from the starting pack quite a few line breaks. Just errors at key moments with and without the ball.

Our pack actually made more metres than Manly's. Ava has been awesome over the past couple of weeks and his superior fitness this year is really paying dividends.

Thought our pack let us down yesterday. Not wrapping up tackles, letting them have quick PTB in defence cost us big time.

The pack did alright, they beat us in the backs, that right side is a real issue…........no real solutions at the moment either

If there was a stat for messy tackles, we'd be up there. Still failing to consistently dominate the ruck, Manly had way too much second phase and way too much space when spreading the ball.

Compare how many times Tedesco caught the ball with Manly defenders in his face, against Foran and DCE running at leisure at the defensive line top pick out their runners.

not saying backs were great, but our defense was constantly on the back foot because we let them dominate the ruck- honestly, even in our worst losses this year, i dont think we got beaten in the ruck like this. the halves just played off that and killed us.
