crap stats. If Lovett made 20 odd more metres than Lawrence I will eat my hat.

But yeh, pretty ordinary numbers from Galloway.
 
So naiqama didn't miss a tackle?? I suppose if you just let them catch the bomb without contesting and watch them stroll over it doesn't register a stat. His stats should read 2 tries plus 3 tries for the opposition

Would like to know the minutes played but based on those and the past 10 weeks…. if we let Seumanufagai walk we are nuts

I've added those stats in now mate, they're not available initially. Ava's stats are impressive.
 
Wow, so many tackles….by everyone. Many people have knocked Lovett, Hoeter and Millone but look at the defensive loads. They were forced to tackle a lot due to the lop sided possession (and the refereeing bias) but give them credit for making the tackles and not missing many. I said it on the other thread.....Tedesco is a champion and you have to question how the team would go without him. Why the hell doesn't Ava start instead of Galloway???? I thought the attack functioned better with Drinkwater there.....

3\. Hoeter - good at celebrating tries, little else

4\. Milone - if not for the commentators calling out about him and Moses being primary school sweethearts, I would not have even noticed he was there

5\. Richards - I swear if he bends down this season, his legs will snap

6\. Moses - willing effort, let Drinky take most of the pointless bombs

22\. Drinkwater - proven inferior to Luke Brooks

8\. Sue (58 mins) - a stupendously ill-disciplined effort, he is a most disorganised footballer

9\. Halatau (58 mins) - good metres at times with solid defence, no issues

10\. Galloway (46 mins) - started strong, faded late but we had limited ball 2nd half

11\. Lovett - tradesman-like, as in one of those shoddy unlicensed tradesmen

12\. Lawrence - another good game, cracker of a tackle on that drug dealer Wicks

13\. Taupau (56 mins) - not as effective as I would have liked, but still one of the better players

14\. Cherrington (28 mins) - good involvement for 2nd try, didn't do a lot else, though he is quick

15\. Seumanufagai (34 mins) - strong effort, this guy is really reliable

17\. Santi (21 mins) - if he didn't have that hair, I would not have known he even played

18\. Buchanan (26 mins) - I knew he played, because it was his fat backside getting penalised all second-half
 
I think Ava deserve a starting spot at prop.

Woods and Ava to start followed by Lodge and Galloway.

Sue back to second rower to partner Lawrence.
 
Have to take into account possession stats and the time on the field. We had about 37% possession overall in the second half. And with a bunch of that coming in the dying minutes it was possibly more like 25-30% possession in the seocnd half.

With backs taking early hit ups in sets it's kind of hard for forwards to have amazing stats when they may have touched the ball a handful of times at most.

Eg Ava was on when he had 70% possession and he has strong stats. Galloway was largely on when we had 30% possession and his stats are down but had much fewer opportunities to make metres.

Just saying context has a large say in things, and why stats can only be used as one of many indicators of performance.
