Player you're most looking forward to seeing in 2019?

I would like to see Eisenhuth play to his size , bust & bend those defensive lines in front of him , play with mongrel big fella

What happened to Eisenhuth? When he started with us he was great. By the end of last season he was so ineffectual. Was he injured? Season too long? He just faded badly.

Just a dud.

Replaced with…......?

Superstar Oliver Clarke and late call up Keith Galloway

So it’s Mats and Packer then eh?

Yeah I don't think Demps thought this one through…

No, their mediocrity shouldn't be tolerated.

Rather have Eiso and ET play prop with these stooges in NSW CUP if they aren't delivering.
Wait and see though. Improvement is definitely needed from these two.

He's never been 'great' what happened was Tigers fans thought he was better than he actually was.
Sometimes if someone new comes into the team and holds their own we get overexcited and rate them a little too high. (We're doing it now with Twal)

I agree his form slid, as the season wore on, he has limited ability though.

I reckon we need to cut Twal and Eisenhuth some slack , first full season of NRL playing big minutes

Takes some getting used to

If they fade badly in 2019 yes , totally agree , but Madge will have built their motors to a new level me thinks :sign:

Rather cut Eisenhuth than twal

Cutting Twal?
Our best front rower.
Who is this guy.
Ridiculous suggestion,

Don't get me wrong, I like Twal and particularly his barnstorming run last year, but you need to take the Leb glasses off Mr Demps, as he was on the field more often than not when WT were being outscored. Hopefully Alex can become our best up front this season, though he will need to raise his level at least a couple of notches to do so.

So where 12 others.

😱pen_mouth:

Mikaele and Liddle, with a little luck and remaining injury-free both future Rep Players.

Matterson for his undoubted versatility.

I think a fit Fonua running hard close to the line off some good ball will impress a lot this year!

I agree, I'm optimistic of Fonua this year.

But a semi fit fonua dropping high balls will get crucified ?

Not to his face Steve  well not by me anyway.
I think the 'under the high ball' isnt that relative these days anyway.. Kicks to the wingers happens every now and then but not as much as it used to. He can be a game breaker on his day, I'd rather that than the other options we have on the wing. We need points.

Yep I’m with you. I’d like to see him get a chance - not sure whether centre or wing. Good kickers can target him. I disagree with the argument he was inconsistent- he played well before injury and then after injury was slowly getting better each week.

I was looking at some old highlights of fonua when he was in the superleague, he has plenty of talent, and seems to be decent under the highball, he just needs to keep in form thats all
