Players off contract in 2012

I'm really interested to see who the marque will be from that list? A few insiders have mentioned we are freeing cap space for 2013.

There was a UK list and hodgo was on there. Bring him back for a year and have tedessco take over in 2014?

That doesn't realy mean anything. Cronk is no chance of coming, so i think the sooner we get our heads out of the clouds and think about more realistic options the better
 
Solid Young depth in around the halves, Surely we can turn Miller or someone into a star and save the other 300K that Cronk would command.

PS who knows if Cronk would do as well at the Tigers with our less structured / Instinctual style of attack led by Robbie and Benji…

It would be an interesting scenario… Robbie would give Cronk great service and a perfect foil, but I'll be interested to watch closely the Cronk / Benji halves combo in this years All Stars game.

Maybe then Benji could be used as a Fullback :blush:
 
Cronk is a star, he would be fantastic with us.

It is a myth that we are unstructured. We have a structure it is just an attacking one!

Id love to have cronk, it is a dream, but hey sometimes dreams come true, but I doubt it.
 
The guy I would like to see at the Tigers who is very much underated is Gareth Widdop You would get him for half the price of Cronk and not lose a great deal in the ability stakes
 
Yeh happy tiger i would like to have gareth widdop but i dont think it will happen lets just wait and see who our big signing for 2013 will be i guess.
 
the 4 main marquee players off contract are cronk, stewart, foran and dugan. i highly doubt any of these will come to the tigers but ill still be interested to see where they end up. at the moment it looks like:
cronk: storm or souths
dugan: raiders or dogs
stewart: manly or dragons. maybe dogs if they miss out on dugan
foran: manly or dogs
roosters will be on the lookout for a fullback to replace mini, but if they get $BW i doubt they could afford dugan or stewart. to be honest i think at 3 out of the 4 will probably resign with their current club.
 
Would love the tigers to have a chase at Michael Gordon. Played awesome at fullback last season and I thought he should of grabbed the NSW number 1 if he wasn't injured. Great goal kicker and has very underestimated strength and could easily replace Lote once he's gone on the wing, if they decide Tedesco is the future for the fullback role.

He played at 6 in the Foundation Cup game last season Something like Kardashian …. waits for the barbs to start hitting :laughing:
 
If the money was right, any player off contract would come to the Weststigers. One of the strongest and best run clubs in the NRL.

yep… I'm expecting Brisbane to announce Cameron Smith before round 6 so that will leave plenty of room in the till for the storm.

You sound confident about Smith going to Broncos Watto?

Storm could be slowly falling apart. If Smith and Cronk do leave, Blair and Inglis already gone that would only leave Slater as there only big name player left at the Storm.

i'm hearing roosters, dragons or staying at the raiders.
first i've heard about the dogs.
