the 4 main marquee players off contract are cronk, stewart, foran and dugan. i highly doubt any of these will come to the tigers but ill still be interested to see where they end up. at the moment it looks like:
cronk: storm or souths
**dugan: raiders or dogs**
stewart: manly or dragons. maybe dogs if they miss out on dugan
foran: manly or dogs
roosters will be on the lookout for a fullback to replace mini, but if they get $BW i doubt they could afford dugan or stewart. to be honest i think at 3 out of the 4 will probably resign with their current club.

i'm hearing roosters, dragons or staying at the raiders.
first i've heard about the dogs.

Dogs will have cash apparently. A few league diehards at work were talking about the Dogs having a fair crack at Dugan. They also reckoned Manly will hang onto the Stewart brothers with Cherry-Evans being the major concern of possibly leaving.

It was on the news late last week that the Dogs were the favourites to snare Dugan next year. I posted it earlier in this thread.

When did Dugan get linked to the Dogs? Wasn't he favourite to sign with us, then the Dragons before deciding to stay with the Raiders? Surely if he is looking at all offers he is a chance to sign with us?

Yeah last word was the Dogs having the dough to have a shot ,but I think in Dugan case (could be wrong) That CASH will be the winner he just seems to have that attitude about him

Yeah I get the feeling Cronk will say at the storm.

yep… I'm expecting Brisbane to announce Cameron Smith before round 6 so that will leave plenty of room in the till for the storm.

Gee Watto my Broncos sources are letting me down if that is the case

Haven't heard a word about that one

Have heard they are interested in DCE and playing Wallace at 6 though

i have heard the dogs are having a crack as well, (albeit second hand) so i dont know how true it is.

Jeez, Dessie must think is it a prerequisite for a fullback to be a prima donna?

Big fan of Michael Gordon. Would love him to play full back and be first choice goal kicker at Wests Tigers
Penrith will be desperate to keep him.

There will be riots if they let Flash go.

DCE to Broncos is a done deal
Hook and DCE Dad are best friends

Also does the Bulldogs relise there is a thing called 'THE SALARY CAP'

Going off who they have been linked to I doubt it

Do you really think Gould and Cleary will let flash go, not a chance. Penrith have trouble in attracting marquee players they sure are not going to let a home grown one go without a hell of a fight. Most elite players stay put and just use the market place to get the best price from their current employers

How good is you source on DCE, would be a great buy for them.

I didn't know the relationship between DCE and Hook, doesn't surprise me, both seem to be genuine, down to earth guys. I really like both of them.

By the time Gordon is off contract I'd much rather throw money at Tedesco who can also kick goals.

Gordon and Jennings are all Penrith have and i can't see them letting them go without throwing the kitchen sink at them first

Lachlan Coote is still first choice fullback. The next contract Flash signs will be the big one no matter who it's with. He's 28, should have played origin last year if it weren't for his ACL injury, he's a sharpshooter and is a good fullback despite Coote displacing him from that position.

He's not exactly home grown, he's a Tweed Coast junior.

He's a better fullback than Coote. I think Coote is over-rated myself

I reckon Coote is great, I hope for his sake he has an injury free run so he can show the world how good he is.
They have great options at fullback.
