Players want Payten as coach, want Potter gone

Their has been far to much smoke around Camp Concord to have no fires burning!!! So i would imagine it is quite possible we have a mutiny going on.

I am not sure what I think about Potter, but I am 100% against the club caving into the players. Its the boards role to pick its coach, its the coaches role to coach the team and its the players role to play football and we dont want those roles getting mixed up.

Imagine if our team actually won more than they lost, all this crap would go away and this just might happen if our footballers concentrated on the basic skills of the game rather than getting their mate a head coaching gig

one guess…that the place is in a mess and in dire need of change...
 
Maybe we need a player from the leadership group to stand up and deny these allegations. Okay it is only a tweet from a guy who gets paid to stir the pot, but their has been to much going on of late not to think this one might have legs.

Anyway going by Mayers press release and this tweet our man Potts his a dead man walking

I'm sick of hearing the players want this and the players want that…can someone please tell the players that the FANS want them to play consistent NRL standard football.

You can tell Farah still has too much influence in this club...he has never gelled with Potter and never will....
 
I think going from Sheens to Potter has been a real shock to some of our players, Sheens spent a lot of time stroking players egos and deflecting blame and responsibility away from himself and the players, Potter is the opposite. The funny thing both struggled to get a winning culture up and running. My guess our playing group needs to take a hard look at them self and grow up

this is so true.
players need to realise, they are NOT bigger than the club.
If they don't like it a wests-tiger's then leave, go somewhere else. 😛ray:

Oh dear when the players want a coach out for an assistant coach there goes the next couple of years. It is a real shame this club can not get its act together ..once players or a player demands this type of request alarm bells should be ringing out in head office , but not at the Tigers the CEO fans the flames . I sometimes just do not know what to think at times about this club.

Its seems the Brian Smith report has given everyone in the club from the bloke on the gate to our no1 player a free shot at the coach and the players in particular have come out swinging. Okay this is all rumor at present, but the CEO dosnt hit the social media trail with a long winded piece of fluff if the Indians are not circling the camp site .

Could you imagine if Jack Gibson or Warren Ryan had this going on!!!!!!!
 
Smith was reviewing the club, and Potters contract was always being held up by the new board/structure being installed.

Correlation is not causation.
 
Here we go again! Ive been waiting all year for the old song to start playing, everbody get on your dancing shoes!

Potter is not the problem…we just have hit a form slump at the wrong time
 
Brian Smith with his record should not have been allowed anywhere near this club to start with.

Secondly, does Mayer work for the club or not? It will not help our season to be seen to condone or be silent about players disliking a coach. I have a lot of respect for him but not if he does not squash all these rumours.

Thirdly, By the time the board is appointed it'll be next season the way it is going. Get off your arses and appoint the board, have the meeting and sign the coach for God sake. It's the old Roman Empire all over again; destroyed from within.

If it is true that some players don't want Potter - that is ok, get rid of them. Doesn't matter who they are. Payten - don't think so, needs a few years yet imo.

Now - who would believe a mole? - doesn't use a name, doesn't name any players who are unhappy with Potter and who doesn't have any credibility. I don't and neither should you.

Let's get on and win the game this week and then the mole can stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
