God I hope Pyne and Hockey go as well 😛ray:

Pyne was in the Turnbull Camp, Hockey will be interesting to see what Turnbull does.

I still see a role for him after the next election

I doubt Pine and Turnbull will ever be members of each other's fan club Watto

I might play the clown occasionally Geo , but I'm certainly not the clown ….........

It really came down to which way the Morrison supporters went in the end , many others were reasonably predictable

I really like the look of the Coalition spine , Turnbull , Bishop and Morrison

I think many of the Abbott supporters you want to keep will get behind Turnbull

I knew it was over for Abbott based off one thing in the Sky news coverage.

Cory Bernadi was getting way too much face time near and around Abbott.

Probably the best news in 2015 just ahead of my local member getting booted out of the speakers chair.

Politics in this country is an embarrassment. How many times are we gonna see some greedy self obsessed mongrel take the prime minister ship by force?

If the leaders we had in place were competent, we wouldn't have to worry about it. And there's no doubting this country and its image will sky rocket virtually overnight now that this clown is gone regardless of which party is in power.

He will go down as the shortest serving PM since Harold Holt, and how appropriate. By all rights even though he lasted one month longer than Harold Holt, he should have the record outright as the circumstances around Holt were different. He was never voted out by the people or punted by his own party.

Abbott was punted by his own party, not even 2 yrs in. Even Gillard and Rudd lasted longer. Could not happen to a nicer guy. I don't care much for politics, and don't have a preference for either party, but the arrogance and ineptness under pressure of this man knew no bounds. He was never deserving of his position and thoroughly deserves the humiliation he copped tonight and title of shortest serving PM as a result. And if that wasn't already sweet enough, he also has no entitlement to any permanent PM benefits. He should be flushed down the toilet and never heard from again. Good riddance.

That is where you are wrong, once they have been elected and serve at least one year as PM they are able to eat out of the public trough for the rest of their lives.

It says it all here - http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/liberal-leadership-spill-tony-abbotts-annual-pension-to-top-300000-plus-extras-20150914-gjmigj.html

Tony Abbott is set to go off into the sunset with an annual pension of $307,542 per year.

Although well below his prime minister's salary of $539,338, it's not to be sneezed at.
