Instead of inflated false positives due to the PCR tests, the so-called less sensitive RAT tests will reveal less cases due to ... drumroll ... the efficiency of the Boosters - Roll Up, Roll Up - the propaganda continues! Omicron was discovered in South Africa about 3 weeks ago and according to Greg Hunt "Get the booster cos it will protect you from Omicron" No medical evidence was provided just his word! Omicron is a SARs 2 virus akin to the Common Cold for which there has never been a cure - Just a healthy lifestyle which has never been part of the Govt of any persuasion's rational thinking! BTW I checked in with my crystal ball and guess what -The Flu Season will be making comeback in 2022! Happy New Year folks!
Seeing this is the political thread did you know that the Japanese government is the first government in the world to now list all the dangerous side affects of the vaccines and you have to make a willing choice to take the vaccine and your work place can not discriminate against you and also talks about your human rights
The Japanese Prime Minister resigned when he realised that the Moderna drug had serious flaws. Not quite hari-kari, but the new PM introduced [censored] and guess what? - Japan is Covid free, as is the Indian State of Utter Pradesh. Meanwhile, our political dopes are just that!
Now why would they censor I ve r me c tin?
You can go to a health shop and buy the same natural as it
Great, can you get a crash course in grammar and punctuation too? If not, you only reinforce the widely held belief that the anti-vaxxers are dumb a**es.

That's much too easy, how about something challenging like trying to predict what the Wests Tigers next win will be.

"That’s an interesting take. (not wrong, just interesting) I’ve always taken the view that I’ll vote for the best option. Some may have the view better the devil you know.
I certainly would not vote for an unknown and at the moment, the ALP is an unknown because they are excellent at taking the opposing view and bagging the government, but not rich on new ideas and future plans that I can see… I’m certain at this election, neither side deserves my vote. So I wont be. I have to be honest and say there isn’t a ‘leader’ anywhere in federal or state politics."
The point I do agree on, is that the standard of leaders and leadership at both state and federal level is abysmal. They are all Murdoch-wary, focus-group driven and "politicians" rather than representatives and leaders of constituents and people more widely.
Bu to suggest that the ALP does not deserve a vote because "they are excellent at taking the opposing view and bagging the government, but not rich on new ideas and future plans that I can see", then you must have selectively forgotten about the work of Tony Abbott as Opposition Leader. That's ALL he did; oppose, oppose, oppose, which eventually led him to becoming PM, aided and abetted by Murdoch media bias and the work of right-wing "commentators" such as Alan Jones. I can only assume you voted Labor at that election due to your dislike of Oppositions opposing the government.
And, just to be clear, my regard for Albanese and Labor is diminished because they have not "opposed" enough, in my opinion. But, they will get my vote, for sure. Putting a "1" next to any candidate that could lead to Scummo returning as PM is to totally disrespect the tree that died to create the pencil.
And, the fact that you won't be rewarding any party with your vote (I suspect your default position is to vote LNP), well that makes the task of an Independent or the ALP winning your seat, one vote easier.

Mate, you are correct. I think I said in that thread that I did vote ALP at that election. And whilst my default position is NOT infact LNP, I only vote when I believe someone is deserved of receiving my vote. I'm not going to vote for someone that offers nothing, be it ALP, LNP, fatso Palmer or anyone else. And if that makes the task easier or someone else because other people are happy to see ALP or independents voted in, that's fine by me too.

Be it covid or some other reason, I'm just not sure I've seen so many divided opinions. And more than the usual politics, if you disagree with someone elses viewpoint, they call you a lame, unthinking so and so and essentially you are a person of low IQ that should be taken out the back and beaten.
Where has the mutual respect gone in this country?
'Now cue the ALP diehards that will claim SCOMO has caused it with his attitude and policies and media favourites - and cue the rusted on Liberals who will say Labor stands for nothing and they dont care about the economy and small business etc. Then cue the others that are Greens or independent and start talking about trees, koalas, the flat earth and all that stuff.
I'm happy to respect anyone's right to have their say and promote their own thinking, but just don't be like politics ON BOTH SIDES, where its all about how we can best discredit and demean the other side using any tactic possible.
Don't fall into that trap people! Look at what your side of politics actually does (and not what the other side doesn't do) and go from there.
But most of all. We have a great country. Be nice to each other 🙂 - even if our elected officials are not!
