You're not wrong there… What is this, the Curious Case of Citizen Cub?

Either that or someone on mod preview is posting through his account.

you sound like a typical labor voter judging your book by a cosmetic cover this is our livelihood and you treat it like some beauty pageant.

State government is our livelihood? Hilarious. It is the most pointless level of government in our constitution. Since Federation their power has slowly diminished and in reality, we only require Federal and Local governments. It is practically a beauty contest.

Then to say 'I'm voting for the hottest candidate' typifies the type of people who vote, totally oblivious to what the Labor Government has done over the past 15 years.

No it doesn't. It typifies politics.

I could not be bothered who wins the next state election. All I am saying is that a Coalition win is not a certaintly. It would not surprise me if Labor is re-elected. The state budget is cashed up after massive stamp duty receipts over the past 18 months. Lollypops will be handed out in a splurge come election time and frankly, sometimes voters prefer the devil they know.

The state government is not cashed up Gary. I don't know where you are coming up with that? They are only barely keeping their credit rating. If you are basing it around the first home buyers grant, then you probably need to account that first home buyers up to $500k don't pay stamp duty.

and looks only typifies politics to the uneducated and apathetic…

Nope didn't know that. No wonder he thinks train lines are a waste of time!!

Oh well the forum has no age limit and he's entitled to a POV like anyone else. But if you post tripe it's fair game. As I said I'm not trying to convince CC, that would be a waste of time, I just hate seeing dribble go unchallenged.

I'm not saying the Coalition would be far superior to the current NSW government, but at least after 15 years of opposition, gives O'Farrell a chance. I must admit I feel sorry for Keneally, definitely not her fault the state is what it is today, just sent in as a sacrificial lamb on behalf of Tripodi and co. In regards to the winner of the next state election, the last poll showed 61% to 39% to the coalition, remembering the Coalition only have to gain 7 seats from Labor to win office.

Look I really support neither. Somehow I think Labor will win by 1-4 seats.

We live in a great country but our leaders do there best to screw it up. I grew up in Balmain and spent the majority of my first 30 years there. It is a great place to live; near the water, good pubs and restaurants and easy and reliable access to the city by bus, taxi or ferry.

Since I have lived in the Sunshine Coast and now are in South West Sydney. The Sunshine Coast is a strong collation area and for the size of the population has been seriously underfunded by years of state Labor governments. Public transport is a joke for much of the Sunshine Coast. The proposed new hospital (promised for at least 10 years) may finally be opened in 2016.

I now live in South West Sydney (it is near my wifes family and I can't afford to live in Balmain and the surrounding areas) and work near the airport. I have to leave before 5.30 to try and avoid heavy traffic on the M5 as public transport would take at least 11/2 to 2 hours. M5 was at capacity when it first opened, what idiot didn't build that road at at least 4-5 lanes each way. The m5 east tunnel is the worst place to be stuck in but almost every afternoon some idiot breaks down in the tunnel (which again should be 4-5 lanes each way).

Come the next state election the Collation will win in a landslide, people are cuing up to kick out state labor in NSW.

Geez… I don't understand how NSW Labor can still get 39%!

If Labor wins this election I'm going to rush out and get my fibre optics connection licene….With this government running the show, it'll be a fool proof way for me to become a millionaire.

To those not in the industry, be aware that every sparky and austel licensed contractor in the country will line up to rob you. $43 Billion? thats just the tip of the iceberg.

The NBN is a joke and you'll all find that out the hard way I guess.

As of right now …above - but there's still time for that to change.

Question out of left field (pardon the pun). Let's assume that broadly speaking you are Lib-leaning. If you were in say Melbourne (the electorate) would you be preferencing the ALP ahead of the Greens? Just interested. I know if it was the other way around I'd rather a Lib than say a Family First or ONP member.

I think that the Greens are insane. Bob Brown is nothing but a sensationalist lunatic. If they were in power this place wouldnt be worth living in.
If it came to that I would definetly go Labor. I would prefer that the Greens didnt win a seat.

They are the leftist equivalent of the CDP.

I will Def Be voting Liberal

The Labor party have not said what they stand for - They have been playing the man through out the last 4 weeks.

Gillard is more polished but that's cause she is FAKE.

History shows that Labor SPEND and Waste and then The Libs pay it back - Its all a Cycle.

The Scariest Policy that will especially affect all middle and lower class Aussies is the Carbon TAX.

Every company will simply pass this down the line and affect the price of everything we buy and will it fix the planet ??? NO.

The Libs and Abbott Are far from perfect - But I'll have em any day over the disgusting voiced backstabber…
