You people are really hard markers.
Sironen was a 5/8 who was put into the back row - a position I would think could have been a little strange to him.
So he gets injured and misses 12+ games at the start of this season. Gets shoved straight back in because of injuries and plays with a team that really doesn't want to be there.
However, he tries hard and the last few games he does pretty well.
No - not good enough says you. Hard markers indeed.
I think there are a lot of people here against Curtis because his old man is Paul Sironen.
I'm sure he doesn't get any favours because of his name (except in the press) and he shouldn't get bagged because of his name either. We only talk about on merit here, don't we?
Give him a go - he has to learn the position, which doesn't happen overnight. He is no worse or better at this stage than most of the team. They all have problems and most on the form they showed this year, need to improve just as much as Sironen. Get on their backs as well.
Most of the Forum are already on Teddy for being injury prone, Rowdy is hopeless, Richards is too old, Moses can't tackle, Brooks is rocks and diamonds, Simona and Nofo are out of form.
Then we move to the forwards - Sue is a naughty boy, Halatau is past it and too small, Galloway doesn't run hard enough, Farah is a fence jumper and not aiming up.
Reading between the lines I guess most of the Forum think Woods, Lodge, Ava, Sitaleki and Taupau scrape by with a pass mark.
I am suggesting that people get off his back, give him the same go as all the others mentioned in 2015 and then judge him after x amount of games as all the other players.
Absolutely tired of people getting singled out and the relentless pursuit of crapola put on them.
Blair copped heaps, Anasta was buried, Rowdy they will hardly ever find again he has had such a dumping.
Guess the whipping boy in 2015 is CURTIS SIRONEN!!!!!!!!
Something for him to look forward to and gain some confidence.
