I would add Blore. He showed a lot of improvement this year and with an injury free preseason should come on even more next year. I hope we sign him as he has a lot of upside.
Blore seems a bit injury prone to me, I think he's off to another club anyway !

To’a showed he can be a high quality tackle busting centre when he’s in the right frame of mind and receives some decent ball with time and space to move.
Obviously he needs to make a big improvement in his consistency and his defence, but there can be no doubting his raw tackle busting ability.
Staines when on the field showed plenty of pace and the intent to run into the tackle at speed, not just submit to the tackle like many of our players do.
Reilly scored a stack of tries in our struggling NSW Cup team and then showed plenty of energy and willingness to compete when given a chance at NRL level.
Seyfarth showed he has matured into his big frame, played with high energy and an obvious desire to give his all for the jersey.

1. I would delete #6. Having a rookie coach is not positive. WT will be hot favourites to win the spoon in 2024.

2. I'm not sure Bateman was a positive because his signing cost us Hastings, who I think would have been more helpful.

3. Good that the mismanagement of the club is being highlighted. Bad that the duds at the top who presided over this crapshow are untouchable.

Forwards were a positive middles in particular.

In the backs - Bula and to a lesser extent Tupou and Toa. The rest of our backs were fairly rubbish.

Yes, Twaly is only 27. I expect him to have a big year in 24 with a big improvement in his leadership, same goes for Stef.
Twal yes. He is one guy that’s tried hard all year. We know what we are going to get out of him which makes planning easier. Additionally he is evolving a bit. A goose step, a shimmy, a show and go and some late foot work all show he is trying to improve.

Steph no. He hasn’t come on at all. He hasn’t improved at all. He is very inconsistent still. He is a few years away from being truly useful.

Api is a positive. Without him this year we likely finish with zero victories. He is head, shoulders, knees and toes our best in 24. Only one guy comes within cooey of him.
Bula is a positive. He was poor towards the back end but for the majority of the year he was dependable and even great at times.
Twal and Seyfarth are improving and try hard to get wins. They are positives.
Klemmer returned good results all year. Just need more leadership from him. Where is angry aggressive Dave? We need him. He is a positive.

Everyone else needs to take a hard look in the mirror.

😂 Stef is not your goose stepping, shimmy, show and go type of prop, but you may be right he is only 23. I think he is improving with Klemmer in the team and if the club manages his progress well, he is a future captain.

Agree with that.
As much as I agree Bula is a very good young player with a long NRL career ahead of him, I honestly think he’s part of our problem in attack playing as a fullback as he struggles to inject himself to create the extra man or make regular tackle breaks like most of the other elite NRL fullbacks do.
It’s quite possible this is a result of our lack of structure and quality players around him, but the lack of tackle breaks has to be a concern.
He’d be a centre or winger at most other NRL clubs and a very good one at that.

I argued earlier in the year we should move him into the centres and got howled down on here. I wanted him moved into the centres and that Newcastle fullback who ended up in Super league signed.
He doesn’t have the ball playing vision nor the hyperactivity to be a great fullback. We could develop him into a dangerous centre though and his defence is dependable.
