Positives

Most were good tonight bar Ayshford and Moltzen. Not often I like to single out a player for a loss but Moltzen cost 15 other blokes the game tonight with his first half performance.

Woods was good. Keef had a good return from injury. BMM and Bell were solid. Lawrence still looking for his mojo. Benji and Farah were good too i thought. Lote is still struggling. I hate when he gets into dummy half to waste a tackle.

Positives??? I had enough beer to get through the game

Another great performance from Aaron Woods and Ben Murdoch. The young guys are really leading from the front. Every time they hit the line they get another 5m at least. Definitely think BMM deserves a NZ jersey this year if he keeps up this form.

We defended excellent tonight, out attack needs some structure because one set Beau ran 3 and there were no Forwards in sight, Moltzen played shocking however according to the commentators he had injuries so maybe he was hindered, maybe he wasn't. We had a 2 player bench and defended for basically an entire half and only let in 1 try
If we defend like this next week and pick the right payers in the right places we should beat Penrith

Come on Dazza, really? We defended excellent tonight. We maybe scrambled well off our line but look at the woeful turnstile defence that let the Broncos get down to our line time after time. They were able to put on a try attacking last tackle kick with most of their sets.

It was woeful. It was like the Broncos were covered in lube. (*insert sex toy joke here*)

I just thank god there is a top 8 and we didn't get smashed.
I think for and against will be very important in the make up for the 8 this year.

Ahhhhhhhh…..but did we? the experts will tell you that we were lucky to win that one...refs etc,,,etc,,,....lol!

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet …

The penalty count was 6-1 in our favour. The boys definitely cleaned up the ruck area last night. The only penalty we conceded was that brain snap by Blair.

Lawrence and aysh looked more confident as the game went on Farah had a solid dig but Fulton is the unsung hero once again with the first meat oie fifty six tackles four misses and backing up with some good meters in attack. Just last week some on this forum suggested he should spend time in state cup . What a reply. God help us if he gets injured.
