I really like watching Latu, he is a very good ball player and a good defensive half for a kid.

Apart from lacking direction in the first 15 and some bad individual efforts in D we have looked ready for rd 1

I wish we would run some more set plays - I know spine is missing but surely they should be running them anyway? Not a lot of structure in attack but ad lib footy has been good

May 125mtrs, Skelton 110 mtrs in a half without any line breaks. Haven’t seen that for a while.

Galvin looked lost on the right, shifts to left and looks very different. Going to be interesting with Luai.

Looked lost in the 20mtr zone and 5th tackle options been poor most the time.

Overall been a decent half of footy from the boys however.

Can still do all if those things in the backrow. Looks to me his biggest strengths are his short kicking and running game. Think Latu straightens things up, has a bit of deception and a better passing game

But I don't see Galvin being happy playing outside of the halves.

To answer your earlier question @Tucker, I don't think that we come last again because the replacement middles are as expected, already showing that they bring more than Stefano and co did.

That said, the depth and Klemmer successor are as yet to be judged.

Honestly might be our best centre if his head is right. Sounds not too bad so far according to the latest update. Scans will tell.
