Wests Tigers are inviting Members and fans to submit questions for a special final Q&A session for 2017 with Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe and Head Coach Ivan Cleary.

Pascoe and Cleary will answer questions on video, with the clip to be posted to the Wests Tigers website.

As the 2017 season draws to a close this final Q&A session for the year will give Members and fans an opportunity to see where the club is at heading into the off season.

Members and fans are asked to submit questions by 5pm Tuesday 29 August, with preference given to questions asked by current Wests Tigers Members.

Yes, took the opportunity to ask about the C of E and if it is going ahead in reduced form seeing that we don't look like getting a 10 milion helping hand that some will get.

Hope they give an answer - nice to know where we stand on this.

“If I was a player and I was looking at some of our competitor’s facilities and looking at our current facility I would be second guessing whether or not I am going to be improving my football,” Pascoe said. (June 2016)

Pascoe said this when he thought we would get funding for the COE.

Given the COE is not going to be funded, how is this self-declared significant disadvantage in recruitment and retention now going to be addressed by the club?

My 3 questions:

1) What position do they see Esan Marsters vying for in 2018?..
2) When will we expect a CoE and what is plan B if we dont get the required government funding?
3) Will Tui be our preferred GK in 2018 and what are our plans to improve our goal kicking % for 2018?

Was Tigerles, aka "Mick" via Twitter the catalyst for this latest installment?

It was always planned… but yeah that sounds better..

Would be more than happy to take the credit for it, if someone's offering. I can also tell you that weeks ago I sent an email to Justin suggesting that Ivan and the club were losing support from some fans for continually picking Kyle Lovett in the team, the next game no Lovett, I'll take credit for that to if its on offer. but somehow I don't think I had anything to do it with either.

Anything interesting?

Centre of Excellence info - first question. Should know more about the CoE in next 4-6 weeks from state government.

Same sort of thing as last time. They seemed to answer the questions honestly and both seemed intelligent. Can't imagine too many other clubs doing this or communicating as well.
Good on them for doing it. Having said that they didn't give too much away or make any big promises. Cleary didn't even want to guarantee Lolohea the fullback position.

On track to be running at a profit by the end of next year. As wt00 said, should hear if we're getting govt money for COE in 4-6 weeks. If we don't get the money we're still working on getting it built. Gym at concord getting a refurb.

Also said we have 2 spots left out of the 30 and we are waiting to see who comes available over the next couple months, with the salary cap dramas and wotnot
