Before this season i, and others, often defended Benji's form in 2012 and stated that it was alright. Maybe not as good as in 2010/11 but it was still good. And the stat we used was that he topped the NRL try assists with 37 from memory. Then others would counter and say but I bet he also got the most errors. Which is true, he go around 40 off the top of my head.
Well, if you take a look at Reynolds and JT's stats from this season. And both, especially adam have been in great form:
A. Reynolds - 18 try assists (1st) - 23 errors (1st)
JT - 13 Try assists (3rd) - 23 errors (equal 1st)
Now, i'm not trying to say benji in 2012 was better than Reynolds or JT but people really tore him apart last season on the forum. And those were his stats with Sheens putting him at 7 all the time and without a consistent halves partner. However, he did have a decent forward pack unlike this year.
