It's *how* you say it - I don't understand why people don't get this.

You can state almost any opinion you want as long as you state it politely and try not to spam the forum with it (of course they aren't going to cop racism, sexism etc.). Excessive and regular aggression is also not tolerated.

People will argue with you, for certain, and that's how a forum works. Again this should be obvious - anything that you care to write, someone else can write the exact opposite and you are both permitted to do so. It's only words on a page.

It's no different to real life - you don't shout at people, swear at them, get aggressive; people don't have to listen to you or agree to you. There are police to enforce the rules.

If any of those conditions are unpalatable for you, you are also free to go elsewhere to discuss things in your own style.

It’s where I give a guy like Demps credit. He and I haven’t really seen eye to eye lately, but for a lot of years, he was a serial pest. Then suddenly one day comes back, realises he didn’t carry himself too well at times and owned the fact he was banned a couple times, and tones it down.
