Either way it is sad news. He was a cult hero for the Dragons. Remember his pretty tense departure from there, was probably a signal that the days of the one club player were pretty much gone.

Tough uncompromising forward who has gone too soon. The one thing that always sticks in my mind with Lance is the tap penalty where Nathan Brown gives him the ball but unfortunately he trips and the ball hits Lance in the head on the way down. RIP Lance.
