Rankin in doubt to take on Canterbury

That would be right… Just bought Rankin for my Fantasy Team

Better hit the reverse trade option before Friday night, unless you bought him last week, then it is to late.

Good call. Haven't done that one before. As much as I'd like to see Heleta debut.. I'd put Moses back at fullback and Lawerence at 5/8 and add another forward in for a big defensive effort against the Dogs.

It will be Hunt if Rankin is out …only other option would be Moses to FB and Littlejon to 6... We have used too many players to debut another in a position where we have top 25 players who have already played...

I 100 percent would play Moses at fullback this weekend even with a fit Rankin. I would pick Littlejohn at 6 and leave Rankin on the wing where he is improving every week.

Moses at FB, Lawrence at 5/8.

If we really want to get Sheenius we could move ET to 2nd row to cover Brooks and Sue to lock.

Im all for playing players in there correct positions and after a win keeping side together as much as possible.
This week is different because we have lost our three best players. In order to cover them, we can either bring reserve grades in or shuffle the Top 17 around to plug the holes.
We need to get our defence as strong as it can be first up.
Woods, Farah and Teddy are all fantastic defenders. We have to stop the Bulldogs passing game. Get our line speed up and shut them down before they can put the Morris Bros into space.

As much as I disagree with playing defensive footy and shuffling players around I think that there are some good points here.

With a heavy ground a certainty on Saturday the selection of Lawrence to 5/8 really makes sense. He played very well at 5/8 in the first of our two games against Souths and would be well suited in the heavy ground. The selection would also allow a heavy forward to come into the pack.

Lawerance would also play wider next to Kev which we need some defensive muscle on that side of the pack

Another point for Mitch to FB will be his confidence in barking orders at the troops. Which is a big key for successful fullbacks.

If we cant play Heleta due to second tier cap restraints then how about Kev to fullback where has played before and MCK to centre.

Bookies have it wrong I think

20.5 start might be more appropriate

I'd go Moses at 1 Lawrence at 6

I know this is from left field for a hooker if we are concerned about Liddle lack of experience , anyone think Sironen could handle hooker solely as ball distributor ??

He can pass, playing 5/8 previously. I don't think the WTs coaching staff will do that though. Unless they have been doing secret hooking sessions with him.

Well considering its going to be a wet game and no matter what injury Rankin has it won't be ideal ground for him. So I'd go with
6 Moses
2 Nofoaluma
3 Simona
4 Naquima
5 Addo-Carr
12 Lawrence
7 Brooks
8 Grant
9 Halatua
15 Seumunifungai
11 Alioia
13 Taylor
10 Sue

14 Felise
16 Lovett
17 Chee-Kam
19 Littlejohn who can share d/h role
Its a bit of a jigsaw but it may work.

The channeling of Tim Sheens never ends with you….

X2 excepting Liddle for Littlejohn if he is available. Lawrence to 5/8 to stiffen defence and with ET frequently playing first receiver then Moses moving to fullback should not affect the team's fluency but also add more punch/speed than what Rankin can provide from the back.

Why do some forum members go into fantasy land ?
Some of the suggestions here makes me giggle.

Next i will hear someone say Brooks for PM.

Let me suggest myself for Full Back on Saturday.

I think that JT said today that Rankin trained with the side today and they are confident that he'll play tomorrow.

You are right sideline eye
JT Says it here towards the very end
