Great football mind, but does not agree with the way it is changing.
In the end he doesn't have to agree, he needs to understand the changes ( which I'm sure he does), and he openly critisizes them at every opportunity he gets.
Very smart man Gus. As a NRL club head, he should not make so much noise on this issue, but as a commentator... Well... He knows how to get his point across to millions.

I must admit in some areas of the game that I wished never had changed I agree with Gus
The wrestle and all the different styles of tackles that have come in to slow down the ruck speed are very annoying and very boring
Just wondering if I'm the only one who has noticed how that the ruck speed has slowed again how we have gone backwards as well
