It would be hard to rule out the speed of the game this season not having an impact, bodies aren't made of steel.

I gotta admit as one of Stefano's biggest haters he has really turned a corner. Is making strong effort plays late in the game and is making strong runs against defenders other than hookers. This is the player I always imagined he could be. Took Bellamy almost 2 years to get through to him.

What a game it's been, worthy of a final.
What a pity Stephano couldn't play that fast & aggressive when he was at the Tigers.
Bigger.pity that Terrell isn't playing like that of late
. His play the balls are so slow, like Stephano was when he played for our boys. He was giving the boys really good momentum early in the season.

Both Souths & Cronulla are really really good at it. Cronulla tore our outside defenders inside out with that backline move.

Even Storm didn't have him playing like this until last week. He had been lazy his entire time there. Was doing the same dumb, pissweak effort plays that he did for us until then.
Horrible news with the Knights confirming season ending injuries for Dylan Lucas & Dylan Brown out of Round 21.
Brown suffered an ACL rupture - he had previously suffered a partial tear to his ACL in the same knee 2 years ago.
He will undergo ACL reconstruction surgery with usual recovery time being around 9 months - with 7.5 months til Round 1 2027 there will be some doubt over his availability to start the season.
Lucas suffered an ankle fracture/dislocation - surgery will be required & can address damage to the fibula/tibia (pins/plates), syndesmosis (tightrope), deltoid ligaments & more.
Thankfully he avoided an open fracture (bone pierced skin) as that brings risk of complications ++ (eg Jharal Yow Yeh)
Wide recovery range with such a significant injury but many return within 3-6 months. Past NRL ankle fracture dislocation recovery times:
Dylan Walker - 6 months
Ryan Papenhuyzen - 5 months
Pasami Saulo - 15 weeks
Aidan Guerra - 10 weeks
