REALISTIC SIGNINGS

Jennings would be good, but not Rankin on the wing please, surely we can get a real winger.

What's the use so we can supply the Storm we won't play them.

My dream realistic signing is RObert Jennings.

Very good centre, with an excellent work ethic, and an excellent defender (especially communication) and Penrith look like losing him.

Jennings can play either side and has been playing right side for Penrith.

We are very poor in the centres, with no depth. He would fix that right side in a heartbeat, let Kevvie fight it out on the wing with Rankin. Id go Rankin, Id be very much in the minority, but I like consistent smart players.

have been sayihg this for over a year robert and george jennings would be great signings. they have little or no hope at penrith as they have atleast 4 centres in front of them , would be cheap and give us a great backline.

Penrith are over stocked in centres and backrowers, yet they just keep buying more, why and how do they fit them under the cap.
If they sign Tamou on the deal reported, some players surely must be squeezed out, the weststigers could take advantage of this, instead of being the club who pays players to play at other teams we could get a bargain.

Robert wont be cheap, but he wont be expensive either.

They love him at Penrith, but cant get them all in.

I mentioned him before, and it is now happening, the roosters shopping Hastings around, he can cover fullback, halves and hooker.

could we get blake ashford back?

he was ineffective in his last year here and had to leave.

he has subsequently returned to form via warriors an the sharks.
if not ashford ,someone with a bit of size.
at present the backline is land of the midgets.

Dunamis Lui.... Bad hands but he looks mean can get this benchie from the Dragons

Temora have issued a press release saying that Fitzhenry will not be released from his 2 year deal but will consider a 2018 trade for Brooks, Moses and Sironen plus a cash adjustment.

If we are after a talented forward, Jai Arrow from the Broncs. Former Keebra Park player so we would know his history well.

He plays lock and I'd prefer we keep ET there. He's also earmarked as the successor to Corey Parker at Brisbane so there is virtually no chance we could prise him away. Struggling clubs don't successfully poach from clubs like Brisbane.

Jarod Wallace from the Broncos is off contract. He's a big strong enthusiastic forward. He's list listed as a prop but he started as lock against us and has played backrow.
Ethan Lowe would be a good pick up also..and is off contact.

We need a goal kicking winger - if we are looking at players from outside the club then a goal kicking winger should be number 1.

good luck. he isn't going anywhere
they''ve got him earmarked to take corey parkers position.

The Jennings brothers are today reported to be leaving Penrith, they are sick of waiting for a shot, that is the good part, the bad part is souths are looking at signing them, we should get ET to have a chat to them.
They would be fairly cheap and pretty keen, two ingredients we are looking for, lets at least make an enquiry.
BROTHERS ON THE MOVE?

Penrith centres George and Robert Jennings appear likely to leave the club at the end of the year.

Both are off-contract and unable to break into the NRL side with Market Watch hearing the duo have attracted interest from South Sydney.

George, 23, made his NRL debut last year with the Tongan international able to play centre or wing.

Robert, 20, also debuted last year and like his brother has made five appearances in first grade.

With a host of young guns banging down the door at the Panthers for a start in first grade, a switch for the Jennings brothers would likely provide them a better pathway to the NRL.

The Rabbitohs are light on outside backs with Michael Oldfield, Hymel Hunt, Tom Hughes and Ed Murphy off-contract.

Also heard today that Zac Hardaker has signed with Penrith. Apparently part off the Segyaro deal.
Any wonder the Jennngs boys don't want to hang around.

Eddie Murphy is playing for the Bunnies? 😱pen_mouth:

I'd take either of the Jennings boys. Surprising they haven't played more really.

I also think we should have a good crack at signing Nathan Brown. He'd be a great player off the bench for us, providing a lot of that mongrel and aggression that our pack so often lacks. He's improved a lot at Souths but he's also still best mates with half our squad. Don't think he'd be that expensive but i also wouldn't expect him to be playing every game. You have to accept the odd suspension with a player like him.
