Reni Maitua

He apparantly had a meeting today with the Tigers, hoping for a contract for next year.

Seen on channel 10 news. They said Tigers and Parra are interested in him.

Not really keen. Backrow is good enough as is, right centre would be the only fit with him/Fulton playing there.

yes please, why wouldnt we,former soo and test player, still young has alot to offer
couldnt be any worse than cayless and skando.i think folkes would be pushing sheen to sign him

former troublemaker too.

He is not injured , we might throw him a life line if it fits our budget.. Recently all we have bought is broken or about retired players.. He is a strong boy and Sheens will have the option to mould him into any position he may need Reni to fill.
He is not a trouble maker on his own , he had help from Mason and his crew .. Agree ??

i totally agree.we keep buying broken old players, cayless toupu, even skando is getting on now.even big willie has turned things around this season ,so why couldnt maitua.apart from ellis this would be the first serious rep player we
would have bought.

Why the hell would we need or want him?

We've got our starting backrow + Dwyer, then Moors, Jason Shirnack etc. none of whom have been given a proper go.

I don't really think we need him. The only position he could play would be back row and we have that pretty well covered.

I'd rather we go for a good prop and a good goalkicker.

I reckon he would be a great pick up considering he is of a rep level and would be a reasonable price. I think that this year both Todd Carney and Greg Bird have shown that despite having problems in the past these type of players are capable of turning it around and playing great footy. I'd love to give him a go.

oh dear - no, no, no, no
