Reviewing the Past and Current Path

It's starting to work a little better. It's interesting.
I didn't think it could happen without replacing at least one or two of those moderators who have left, so I have been very surprised by this outcome too,

Whether it's just good fortune or a well calculated risk it doesn't matter.

The outcome has been surprisingly good.

Is this about the documentary series now?

I thought they might do a new team this season but looks like it was a one off with WT only.

Your question from yesterday,
"Do you misconstrue simple questions.."

My answer now,
I'm certain that from time to time and for various reasons we can all misconstrue or have misunderstood things, we are just humans after all..

Yesterday there was a moment there that caused my confusion in this thread, i could explain it but it doesn't matter.

What needs to be said now is to apologize about what happened,

Sorry mate,
After looking at those posts again,
You were right about misconstruing.
(i must admit that i did have a bit of a headache yesterday)

You also mentioned that the thread was becoming difficult to follow, I've now changed the title to what it was originally was (mostly) and to make it look more relative to what the original idea of discussion was meant to be, and that is, the causes of the failures since 2005 and reviewing those major events since then.

Such as the following quotes, although the first one was prior to 2005, i believe it is very relevant to the causes of the failures and why the WT have suffered and are still in this very undesirable position.

1)Martin Bullock said,over 20 years ago.
“From the very first board meeting, it was determined that the future of the club was in the south-west corridor, specifically in the Macarthur region,”
(Martin Bullock, the Wests Tigers’ first chief executive.)

And so, what has happened since?
Mick Potter explains it simply in one sentence.

2) Mick Potter:
I found it to be a different club to any club I’d been with,” says former coach Mick Potter of his time at the helm from 2013 to 2014. “It was a political hotbed."

And now,
More than 20 years later.

3) Lee Hagipantelis,
"We are well advanced in those discussions but i can't make any formal announcements just yet but i can assure you that we are absolutely commited to the southwest and it's mine and the view shared by many on the board thats where the future of this club lies and it would be beyond ridiculous not to acknowledge that and embrace it"

The previous boards have criminally kept us on a crooked path for far too long and the announcement of this current path taken by the WT looks encouraging,
what do you think?
All lot of those from the previous boards are still on the current board. So while the current path looks good there nothing to say that we won't stray from that path yet again.

Haha,
I think the WT won't be that foolish to ever let this happen again.

This new documentary series is directed and produced by us members on this thread. It's Just us to tell a tale about the failures, past and present of WT

Man this season would have been great viewing. 5 straight losses, 1 point FG wins, coach being punted, players quitting, AD return, Pascoe doing something stupid and LH getting in a text beef with a fan podcast. Amazing TV.

The efforts made by some of us posters in making these type of posts are obvious to see.

I would just like to say that the posters don't even need to receive encouragement so much, but i would suggest that members don't discourage them by giving these sorts of replies, that's all.
I’ve just seen your response. I didn’t mean to offend. It was well written, I was asking whether it was originally compiled or taken from part of a larger article. I appreciate these posts either way.

No worries mate, not offended at all,
I appreciate your valuable inputs too.

Good old Benny the loudmouth has made himself to appear as reckless and unmindful in the past,

But i found it interesting to see that he said this all the way back in 2006.

Balmain legend Benny Elias is on record saying that Campbelltown is the place the Tigers need to be.

“The ideal situation for the NRL would be to have the Dragons playing down at Illawarra, the Rabbits up at Gosford and the Tigers out at Campbelltown” Elias said in 2006.
“That is just my personal opinion. I have a great personal attachment to Leichhardt but you would have to say that would be the optimum situation for the NRL.”

Who would have thought treating adults like kids wasn’t the right way to go?
Over moderation of anything is bad.

Respect for that

I have less than zero faith the club will ever fully commit to the South West. They have talked the talk for 20 years. They were only a couple of years away from doing it in 01-02.

have to agree with GRN4LIFE that area is huge and should have been tapped into years ago , all talk no action by the club and they really need to get there fingers out and get heavily involved in that area , give the kids a club that they want to play for and support and there would be loads of them as there are plenty of new developed areas in that corridor Camden and the like areas have boomed with young families

Everyone is accountable! Ha

Potter, JT, Hartigan, Madge, Marshall, Farah, numerous assistant coaches, all knifed.

You’re only accountable if you’re in the WT football department. Good luck Sheens.

It does sound a bit like "do as i say not as i do"
But i think there's much more to it than just that.

Lee has invested a great deal of time and money into this business undertaking, it is a results based business, but why has he persevered with it for this long when he has seen that the club has been faced with many critical issues all this time?

The answer must be that, From what we are hearing is, Lee has also seen the Enormous potential of the WT and it's region.

He's love for the WT combined with their massive potential makes it a strong incentive for Lee (just like uncle Nick did in his first few years) to persist with this undertaking, otherwise he would have departed a long time ago.
