From that video I gathered that Harry will be our starting looker 100%

Wonder if madge is looking for Walters to be benji replacement 2021

God I hope not. 3 years of finals footy in 20 as a wts supporter. 3 in 30 as wts and balmain. I hope someone in the whole organisation wants success? Walter's as 5/8? Is it just fill the spot?

The only person that can make this deal happen is Reynolds. He would have to take a pay cut. There is no way the dogs are going to pay $500k for him, and I don’t think we will release him if we aren’t saving something decent enough to get another classy player. Let’s see what Jrey is all about.

He won’t take a pay cut. Bulldogs paying even $300k is a win for us otherwise it’s $750000 sitting in reserve grade for two years

But your not going to get any better than Reynolds for 300 k

Well he should take a pay cut. He’s taken 1.5millin from us over the last 2 years and done nothing. $200k or $300k pay cut is nothing really when you will still end up on around $500k per year.

Buyer beware mate ......don't buy risky players ....not Josh's fault

agree not josh's fault he took the money we were silly enough to pay at the time it was overs but a good signing at the time. He shoudnt have to take a paycut but we might uave to pay a fair bit of freight to move him 9n like 500k

Geez some douche’s on this forum.

He deserves every cent of a contract we agreed with him for. He can’t help injuries. He has also carried himself trough all of his injuries, major off field drama & playing reserve grade in the most respected fashion.

Hahahaha "$200000.00 // $300000.00 is nothing really"

What planet are you on?

I’m on earth mate what about you? If you have earned $1.5m over the last 2 years then it’s not that much money. If he is supposedly on $900,000 this year then we are talking just over 20% of his salary. We aren’t talking about normal on normal wages. We are talking about a guy who has earned an astronomical amount of money for doing pretty much nothing. I don’t think it’s unfair to ask that of him.

A douche for having an opinion? He can be the nicest guy in the world. Will go down in top 5 worst signings of all time for our club. If he wants to go back to the bulldogs he can easily make it happen. What’s Benji earning to play for the tigers and retire here?

Reynolds release makes sense for us. Benji is 5/8 this year and one would assume Douehi is being groomed to take over. We have depth to cover hooker Grant, Mbye, Liddle. We can cover 5/8 with Douehi, Madden, Mbye. I would be trying to get Nick Meaney for next year. He’s a fullback not a winger and DWZ is at the Dogs. He also kicks goals and Dogs have Hopoate.

2021 Spine:

1. Meaney
6. Douhiei
7. Brooks
9 Liddle/ Simpkin

Nowhere near good enough to win a premiership but young and dangerous.

I don’t think you realise the precident it would set doing something like that. Not that the club can legally do it anyway.

They're on 10 times- 20 times yiur "normal on normal wages" ... So that's the same as me saying to you $200/$300 per week pay cut is nothing... I'd love to be your boss ?

Crazy

The club can’t do it. But surely If player agrees and club agrees , then it should be allowed to happen. Has it not been done before? Didn’t woods take a pay cut to go the sharks from the dogs?

Crazy

If I left my employer for a higher paying job and did not deliver for whatever reasons. Then had the chance to go back to my original employer to prove myself and probably retire there and I had to take a pay cut to do it then I personally would do it. But each to their own.

Contracts can be amended, but I’d never expect any player to take a pay cut through injury. Where do you draw the line in regards to when a player should put his hand up? What’s the minimum amount of games he needs to play? What would his minimum salary be?
