Mbye is an enigma. He SHOULD be our best fullback, he is perfect for that position, except he cant catch. IMO so far his best performances for us have been at centre (his defence has been outstanding there).

What we have seen too little of, but I was shocked when I saw it, is his passing game. He has a GREAT pass, like REALLY good. He could be a maybe a good 6 but it didn't work at the Bulldogs.

I still believe that was a confidence issue due to his knee, but I do agree with the rest of your post.

Pretty well agree as it certainly seemed to be difference over the off-season. Reckon he would go okay in the 6 as well, as the combination of his traits with those of Reynolds at the dogs, was never going to gel as a competent combination.

I agree Mbye could be a great fullback, but seriously, his catching is mega suspect. It's a shame because his defensive organisational skills are up there with the best in the NRL. Billy Slater said it himself. I'm happier with him at centre. Great defence and good ball skills.

I hope we move him to the Warriors. Mbye at 5/8 with Brooks would be a disaster. Centre is his only position and with young Talau coming through he should be number one on the list of players being shipped around.

Yep, fingers crossed. I'm hoping the same for Reynolds to be honest. I know it's the done thing to rip into him in here but if he stays fit he's going to be good for us. Off the bench, particularly with the new rules, he could really be something.
