G'day T1 : please dont think I'm having a go at you personally as I realise you are just trying to throw some light on the subject, but this is a... rite old load of codswallop.
Did you ever see Tommy play in this jersey?
Did anyone ever see Tommy play in this jersey?
I know I didnt.
Did you ever see Tommy play a in a Wests Tigers jersey in the NRL?
I didnt.
So why was a Wests Tigers jersey showing the 7 dedicated on the day, particularly as it didnt even show Tommy's name on it?
Can anyone give a reasonable explanation why it was a Wests Tigers jersey?
That jersey meant diddly-squat to me.. in relation to Tommy... and I am deeply offended, as I reckon :100: % of older Wests Magpies fans like me would/should be offended also.
Is our club trying to erase the Wests Magpies side of our amalgamation?
Tommy fought for and shed blood for the Wests Magpies Jersey all of us older Rugba League fans would recognise and love.
In Australia's most recent armed conflicts overseas, Our Servicemen and Servicewomen fought, shed blood and died under the Australian flag, not the English flag or the Eureka flag, so why is a Wests Magpies jersey from WW2 being honoured?
I reckon Tommy would have every rite to call the famous "cattle dog" on the Wests Tigers jersey as well as this jersey.
Ps...Wests is spelt...Wests...not Wesst.

Did they have a Wests Tigers jersey on display at the memorial yesterday?

No.
I think 63 is talking about Hapingellis holding up the WTs 7 jumper at LO at the NQ game

Yea, that was a odd choice.

I don't really see it as an odd choice, the Wests Tigers retired the number 7 jersey in honour of Tommy. That was the jersey they retired for the day, it wouldn't have made sense for that to be a Magpies jersey.

The Lawyer holding it up to the crowd like he's presenting Simba was a odd choice. Jersey, Brooks fine i can kind of see it. Lee being involved makes 0 sense. At worst, Brooks just lays it on the chair, takes a sec and runs onto the ground. Simple.

Yeah, I didn't get or like that part either, I would have preferred Brooks to drape it over the chair.

Yeah... The WTs #7 was fitting... It was retired for the day much like when Dallas passed away

Brooks should’ve put the jersey on the chair ..
Why did Lee think he’d need to be the centre of attention?
Farce !

The victa jersey were from 1978-1982. He only played two seasons in that jersey before moving to Newton in 1980.
