Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

According to today's Sunday Telegraph Farah is unwanted by the Dragons.

The supporters want him, but apparently the club are talking to Matt McIlwrick.

I can't see how under any circumstances Farah will see out the next 2 yrs. The club has made it clear they want to go in a different direction which is their right whether you agree or not. The only thing they owe Robbie is to make sure they pay him every cent he is contractually obligated to. Not only would walking away from the club now benefit the club, it would also benefit him. It would give him most off the off season to establish himself somewhere else. Atm he's probably trying to call the clubs bluff, but what happens if he plays NSW cup, or at the very least is coming off the bench after the first 6 rounds? Then he'll realise the club is serious and he'll panic because then his Origin position will start to be up for conjecture.

Then there's the possibility he's trying to ride JT out and is counting on him being sacked early next year. Then it's settled and Robbie wins the war right? What if JT's replacement doesn't want him? Then does he start the riding out process again? He'd make life a whole lot easier on himself if he just left now. Unless the reason why he hasn't left is because no one else wants him? Why would he be taking all of these unnessecary risks with his career otherwise?

Him and his manager arnt too bright.

Until a few rounds of comp next year I think it is too early to come to conclusions. Was Harry T always going to jump ship or was that due to Farah controversy?

Call his bluff and play him in nsw cup…..his ego is too big and he will soon cut a deal with whoever will take him.

That will only work if first grade is winning.

If we are 0/5 or 1/4 etc… The calls for JTs head will be deafening

Umm… So you are saying that there won't be any calls for JTs head if we are 0/5 with Farah playing first grade next season or has left the club all together?

Taylor will be gone within ten rounds, our squad has a couple of standouts but the quality drops off quickly as you move down the roster. So my guess there will be a new coach in the joint before the season is half done and he will embrace Farah with the view of restoring harmony in the joint.

With our roster and the continual drama in the joint we are a 100 to 1 to get out of the bottom four. This Farah thing has caused so much damage and I just wished Taylor had thought it out before making the call

A direct result of an artificial board. Werent there any other capable Independent board members who actually supported the Wests Tigers?

Taylor lobbied Go and got her support, Who appointed Taylor…

This whole thing is a comedy.

Who are the comedians? I think that it is a tragedy. I don't think many of the supporters think that it is very funny.

Go and Taylor. The sooner they're gone the better.

I don't know about you but this a very serious issue. The calls about relocation(perth) are getting bigger and bigger and if we don't get it together that's what it's looking like.

Who? Laurie Daley? He's the only coach that seems willing to embrace Farah.

He may be our best 9, but he is one of the highest paid players in the nrl and he has not performed at aebek to justify this money for at least 2-3 years.

Walker brothers apparently set to take over coaching at the Tigers early next season if the team is not winning. Reported that Tigers have been in talks with them for a while now. Maybe this is part of the reason robbie is set on sticking around.
